So far we only have Lissandra and Trundle on one team, whereas Sej and Ashe have 4-5 people on theirs.

The next Freljord champion I would like to see is an Ursine, with Volibear being a Demi-god of War and Thunder in the revamped lore, an Ursine champion would no longer be a carbon copy of Volibear, without powers. Of course this doesn't solve your problem about Lissandra's lack of followers. The problem stems from the fact that there is not much as for why someone would want join her ranks/ cause. Trundle was about to be murdered and in a moment of ingenuity he promises her the backing of the ice trolls for his life, otherwise she would have zero allies to date.

She is the leader of the frostguard,one of the 3 biggest and most powerful tribes of the freljord. So she already has a ton of followers.

I meant in the context of champions, as the OP implied. In this context the Frostguard and Trolls can be chalked up to evil henchmen.

But who says that there aren't powerful individuals among these evil henchmen that could qualify as champions?

I mean if we are specific,then champs like Kayn Olaf Darius and so on are all just "henchmen"

Riot could just make a freljord champ that is already a member of Lissandras tribe.

Yes Riot can introduce a new Frostguard champion but until then they are just henchmen. Olaf is a character with an interesting story and more than just a Lokfar tribesman or another one of Sejuani's lackeys, likewise Darius is a pivotal character in Noxus and the combination of his ambitions and relations with Swain, would set him apart from any other Noxian general. Until Kayn, no would have thought Zed's apprentice would have made a pivotal character in the lore. Despite the popular demand for one, most people would have assumed it would have just been a less experienced Zed. Likewise with a lot's of other henchmen/ unexplored characters:

Demacia: Another warrior from the Dauntless Vangaurd, a Raptor knight. Freljord: An Ursine, a Frozen Watcher, a Frostguard champ. Piltover: A clan leader, another Warden. Zaun: A chem-baron, one of Viktor's followers.

Other much easier ones to implement would be, other Ascended from Shurima and other Aspects from Targon (by default they have to be unique to their pre-existing counter parts). Even in the example I gave, the Dauntless Vangaurd and Raptor Knight theme could be combined and made as one champion, similar to what they did with Kayn and the Darkin scythe, to make the character unique.

We could even have character's with pivotal roles introduced to the Frostguard, but never have them become champions/ they remain background characters until put in game, i.e. MF's first-mate/ right hand man Rafen or Darius' warmason Tamara.

Although a better way of defining said Frostgaurd character and the character themes I listed, would be as 'Schrodinger characters', they have both, huge impacts on the lore and zero impact on anything, simultaneously, until they are actually in the lore.

Overall my point is that your original logic("The problem stems from the fact that there is not much as for why someone would want join her ranks/ cause") is kind of flawed,when she has already a lot of followers in her lore. And if she has so many followers already,then there has to be a reason for it(admittedly we don't know how she "corrupted" the frostguard,but they will have to explain that in the future anyway)

They could basically create any champion that has a theme fitting for a freljord champ and make them a frostguard,who follows Lissandra for the same reason as the other members of the frostguard.

Ah, indeed I admit I worded that badly there, as she does indeed have the backing of Frostguard. However, for what reason so they support her cause? Are they all equally as enthusiastic about the Frozen Watchers as Lissandra? So yeah, all it takes is a fleshed out purpose for joining/ supporting the Frostgaurd, but this can prove either really easy to do, or somewhat challenging.

Imo the easy way out, is having the champion be someone who's misguided in terms of Lissandra's true goals aka they don't Lissandra is the Ice witch and but are devoted to her 'public' persona. The challenging route, is for Riot to try to explain Lissandra and the Frostgaurd champ's ideals in a way that some people could say, "You know Lissandra might be onto something I definitely would support her of the 3." Like you said, which they go, depends on how Lissandra 'corrupted' the Frostgaurd.

This is why I support Sej of the 3, not that I think what she is doing with 100% the best for Freljord, but her lore made me respect how she came to be, and her ideals.

Honestly I think that a frostguard champ who is not aware of Lissandras true nature and is actually just loyal to her "public" persona would be really interesting,because it'd be hard to say how they react once they find out about Lissandras true nature.

Also I share your opionion about Sejuani,I really feel like she should be the one who eventually wins the war.

I'm not sure who you refer to. Anivia does guide Ashe in some ways, as they both seek to stop the push of Lissandra and her corruption of the True Ice, but her allies are a little dodgy, as she's got Tryndamere (kinda) and maybe Nunu. Sejuani has Olaf as a member of her tribe. But Braum, Volibear, and Ornn are free agents, so there's not really any one power on Freljord that has an edge in terms of champs at the moment.

On Braum's old page, before the universe, he had Ashe listed as an ally/friendly. I know Ornn is neutral, and doesn't Sej have Voli's favor, if she's using the Ursine?
