If or when she gets her vgu, I'm sure that there will be some heavy changes. One that I'm wondering about is if she should still be connected with the Shadow Isles. Riot may want to, but if they will, I'm wondering if she's even supposed to be alive?

I gave you this link for free... It doesn't specifically say she IS from the Shadow Isles but the fact that it's grouped with all the other SI lore seems like a solid confirmation, dont you think? However we still don't know if she's technically alive or not.
Chromatic Eagle1 votesI read that ages ago. I'm actually up to date with the lore, I'm just discussing retcons or missing info as we're waiting for new stories.
Whyte Lyon1 votesBut you asked "if Evelynn should still be connected with the Shadow Isles" and "I'm wondering if she's even supposed to be alive?" Now you're telling me you're asking about retcons and waiting for new stories...?
This post is very misleading. XD
Chromatic Eagle1 votesI asked that because she could be retconned into another nation or become a wanderer. We don't know what she is: a human, spirit, demon. If she's alive then how unless she has access to those waters like Maokai and Yorick?
Don't think my post was misleading.

But that link is only 2 months old so retconing Eve nation of origin to a diferent location makes no sense. Plus quoted by Riot themeselves
Runeterra’s most demonic killer-for-hire.
It implies she has a reputation for killing individuals all over the world so i assume that means wanderer as well. Hopefully that's enough to answer your questions.
