It's not a case of, "She's a female, she has to be hot", it's, "MF is a pirate/scoundrel and will use any advantage she has".

She's empowered and the front and center of every splash art. That's better then Monster Rider and that Elf Sejuani skin where she's pushed into the back.
As much as people love to rag on MF she is probably the most outwardly empowered female champion in the game.
Riot didn't always treat their female champs well, but they've improved now. I think it's safe to think no one thinks they're sexist anymore.
