So in my room today I noticed an old book called "Todo El Mundo" So I looked it up to make sure, and found that Mundo means world in spanish.
I'd find it interesting if they delved more into this in a full VGU for Mundo. I don't think we have any champions that explore such racial qualities.
Dr. Mundo was actually just named after a Rioter named Edmundo Sanchez (not sure if he works there any more). No real relation to spanish, just a champion named after a Rioter like Ryze, Tryndamere, Ezreal, Zilean, etc.
And Leona is Female Lion in spanish.
Actually I am getting some French/spanish, mediterranean and moorish feeling of Noxus. It seems like some people like Darius Look and have a persian name while Leblanc and Katarina have french names as well, especially since Noxus shares it's border with Shurima, which is a stand in for Egypt. Hell even Swains first name Jericho, means either moon or city of the moon in arabic, fitting with the Night theme of Noxus.
