Aside, from Varus as LGTBQ+ representation, here are some other champions that could serve.

Eh I don’t like how ridiculous Varus is. Here are some other ways they could have had it where people actually care and people like these pairings.

Twisted Fate/Graves, Jayce/Viktor(pre-fallout), Vi/Caitlyn, Diana/Leona.

Also perhaps making a masculine man such as Braum as one with a npc would also be cool and defeat the whole gays are weak stereotype.

Or how about we don't just randomly make characters gay for no reason

Are you romantically involved with all of your friends?

Just because two fictional characters were friends or comrades at some point does not mean they were lovers. That goes for men and women as well. And women and blob monsters (since apparently ONE commission of Zac x Riven hentai made that a thing).

No, they shouldn't put your ships into the lore. They also shouldn't put Goku in the game. Any other fanfictions we need to address?

(and as far as "representation", if you want to go for actual representation-- that is, proportional to the real world-- we would already have more than enough at 1 champion. But lucky for you, we have 2.)

Most of your suggestions feel too fanservice-y rather than actual legitimate candidates. Half of your suggestions are enemies or former enemies. I feel like that would reflect poorly on LGBT+ relationships rather than be good representation. These are popular ships, rather than legitimate suggestions with any story beats or reason backing them up. I know that characters don't need a strict "reason" to be gay, but I think injecting romance into any of these stories, gay or straight, would be detrimental and/or pandering, rather than natural story beats.

Most Champions aren't involved in romantic relationships, so its entirely possible that some of them ARE LGBT+ but its not relevant to their story, so it isn't mentioned. I think stories can be just as strong with platonic relationships anyways. People can just be close friends, too.

Also Neeko was confirmed to be more attracted to girls than guys. She's probably the most organic representation we have. Doesn't feel tacked on to an existing Champ, she just is attracted more to women.

Counter question: why does sexuality matter at all, and why is 'representation' necessary?
