MORE skins should have Voice Acting, as of Right now there is no real rhyme or reason to it.

I think Riot should add more VO lines to 1350 Skins. some of the new skins completely lacking voice work or modifications of any kind detracts from the skin quality.

Namely off the top of my head

PENTAKILL Kayle # Dragon sorceress Zyra ( should really just remove the flower/seed related quotes from this skin namely the "Harmless Flower" and "Seeds take root") Star Guardian Ezreal #, Syndra and MissFortune Omega Squad Veigar #

and on the flip side

some examples of skins under 1820 RP but have additional VA or VO lines

**Mafia Jinx **-975RP Mecha Kha'Zix- 1350 Pentakill Karthus-975 **High noon Jhin-**1350 *note the VO work on this one was so outstanding it practically feels like a whole new characterProgram Camille- 1350 **Project Fiora **-1350 Star Guardian Lux-1350

Anyways my point is I think Riot should be a bit more generous with the voice work of the newer skins or do a bit of quality control on the newer skins being churned out. Im not demanding that EVERY single skin have voice work especially when a filter could do just fine, but there should definitely be some sort of vote or consensus going to decide rather or not having proper Voice work done would detract from the skin quality.

I understand that it takes a lot of work and more scheduled planning to pull off Voice acting but I mean most of these champions only get like 1 skin a year and I think the 1350 asking price validates the use of VA . I dont know why Voice acting really reserved more so for the 1820 RP+ skins. Heroes of Newerth does a similar system charging very similar rates(average alt Avatar price is 390 which translates to about 9$) and about 99% of their avatars have VA work done.Train of thought here is If a less successful company could manage such a feat why not League right?

Anyways what do you guys think? Should Voice acting be a more prominent feature and aspect of skins? Have any Idea's and suggestions for VA work ?

The problem is that when they give a skin additional VO,they need to rehire all of the Voice actors for all the different languages,which would make the skins waaay more expensive.

The only reason why the skins you listed are allowed to have additional voice lines is because they came out with the champ-release or when the champ received an entire VO update.

That way Riot could just record these lines when they recorded the lines for the regular VO and thus didn't need to rehire the VAs. The only exception is Project Fiora,who only has one new quote in her VO and said quote was likely done with her original VO and was simply scrapped from her regular VO.

EDIT:Also Star guardian lux doesn't have new VO.

It takes too much effort and money to hunt down a voice actor for a champion every two weeks for a skin. Especially since it'll have to be the exact voice actor who may or may not be busy at the time. Voice actors are people too.

That defeats the entire purpose of having 1820 skins. One of the main selling points for Legendary skins is having a new VO. The only time 1350 skins get new lines is if they are release skins for new champion releases (like Freljord Taliyah)

Money that riot/tencent don't desire to part with.

But I agree. I the resident lover of Morgana would love to have a less angry Morgana vo. One more suited to her character when not fighting against Kayle and her forces.

Or a prevoid kassadin for that one skin he has.
