Well, since you guys stated that you wanted to hear more about our opinions of existing characters or places......I'll put off the wondering of lore release.

First off, Eve is one of my favorite characters in League. She has this enigma that compels a lot of people to wonder who or what she really is. Her occupation maybe an assassin, but i feel like she's collect money for a bigger purpose( A dark purpose seems likely) The fact that she's a mystery compels me to her lore. (I'm a Sherlock fan; completely irrelevant) A lot of people in Runeterra wonders what she is and because they don't know, I'm sure people fear her. Well, she's an assassin after all too. My very first guess was that evelynn is a succubus. I know the general concept of succubi so i wasn't sure this was the original concept of what Riot was going for.

The next thought was a vampire, and this theory is highly likely. The sharp fangs give's an impression but...she is also believed to hail from the Shadow Isles. And the only thing you will find there is the undead. Vampires are considered undead, but curable(isn't that funny?) Although i really can't give an in-depth analysis on her character,(due to her mystery) A variety of ideas can really bring this character out in the future of her lore.

Now about the Shadow Isles. The SA are also shrouded in mystery. I would love to get to the bottom of what happened to that place. It seemed like the kingdom that was there was a promising one. Even the king alone seem loved by his kingdom. That was until his fatal mistake, that ruined his whole kingdom. This is my second favorite place in Runeterra, as it is a constant remember of how one choice can ruin it for all. I would love to see more going on with this setting of runeterra, like maybe EzrealEzreal or some other explorer could have the courage to explore the place. Like An Ancient Mystery in Runeterra and maybe even uncover some arifacts that can help us get to the bottom of that place. KalistaKalista became one of my favorites due to her lore and quotes, that gives off tidbits of the Shadow Isles, like confirming the Ruined king.

I would really like to know whats Evelynn's connection to that place. Was she a human who ventured there like Elise did and gain power? Or is there a house of Vampires that resides on the Shadow Isles? If, you guys wanted to hear about what we like about the lore you guys should have just asked. I for one, could provide many things I like about it. The Iow wasn't my focus, I think it's good that it's out. It gives more room to tell stories.

I gave this response in another eve thread.

The life draining part felt off to me. Her lore says that shes expensive assassin for hire. If she was a life draining vampire or something of the sort, I don't think she would be selling her services just to give her a reason to hunt for sustenance. Heck, if she was, do you think Twisted Fate would have came out of a relationship with her alive????

Plus, her personality tells a different story.

Quotes "Your pain is my pleasure." "I can smell their fear." "Misery loves company." "Mmm, I like it when they scream." "I may be bad, but I feel good..."

Even her ability names say something to the contrary. Hate Spike, Dark Frenzy, Ravage, Agony's Embrace.

IMO, Evelynn sounds more like a tormented sociopath who finds satisfaction in killing and making others suffer. And if she can make a living out of it, bonus.

Personal head-cannon: Shes the child of the two husband/wife spirits from the Twisted Treeline. She survived the transformation of the Shadow Isle's, but she was permanently changed, and the trauma of losing her home and parents caused her to "snap," so to speak.
