Almost never? Well, there is a well known lunatic who managed to do the unbelievable. Jinx

Like many of us may know, Jinx managed to intrude the vaults and caused mayhem. She was playing tag with the Piltover enforcer, but Vi was not able to catch her. To add insult, Jinx didn't even steal anything. Breaking in the best secured bank of the world was just a fun challenge for her.

After this accident, Piltover probably rebuilt the Ecliptic Vaults. And this is the major point I want to talk about: which consequences did this event have? They have a title to defend, this bank is claiming to be practically unbreakable, yet a crazy girl (with, admitted, impressive weapon arsenal) managed to bring disgrace to them.

They should increase their security standards and keep in mind that we talk about a society which heavily relies on hextech.

I want to know more about this place. How are people working there to protect the bank after Jinx' attack? Maybe it gives opportunity for another champion from Piltover, someone with an hextech device trained to protect the treasury?

Ekko built a device controlling time. How about hextech devices able to control space? Imagine a vault with no openings whatsoever. The only way to get into it is using that specific hextech device which is able to create special doors at any given place?

Am I the only one fascinated by this place? Would the community like to know more about the vaults? Please tell me in the comments.

Im not sure if I'm remembering correctly or not but didn't both Graves and TF once break into the same bank?

I think so. It might've been another Piltover bank though.

That was the Clockwork Vault, not the Ecliptic Vault. Probably a less prestigious vault/bank seeing as it's not as famous :)

In Piltover, they hold the distinction of being the only thieves ever to crack the supposedly impenetrable Clockwork Vault. Not only did the two empty the vault of its treasures, but they tricked its guards into loading it onto their hijacked cargo ship. Only once the pair were over the horizon was the theft discovered, along with Fate’s trademark playing card.

Also, that was quite a few years ago, before Graves went in the slammer. It's possible that while they cracked the 'supposedly impenetrable' Clockwork Vault, other criminals have done so since once Graves and TF proved it could be done.

Thanks for the quick response! A lot of interesting people were on their way to Piltover. Graves TwistedFate Jhin Shen Zed. Also would love to hear more about the prison Graves was held in. Hopefully one day...

And nice to see a rioter chiming in. Are you able to enlighten me about the questions I am asking myself? Like, did the accident with Jinx (if it happened) have any effects on their security? Are they considering new hextech devices and maybe even special trained personal to prevent something like this happening again?

And most important: Will I ever be able to see a Piltover tank champion designed around concepts of vaults? [sg-ahri-2]

I don't know anything about them breaking in, but the last time we heard from them, it got stated that they are heading towards Piltover, since Graves knows a gunsmith there and he broke his shotgun destiny.

I could see Twisted Fate being able to do that with his teleporting ability, though. Even more reason for me to ask: What are the people from the bank planning to prevent further crimes? I really wish to have more information about the vaults.

Considering summoner's rift size (bigger than a big building)

I can definitly (and woud love to) see a cop vs robbers gameode

With a map based in Piltover, and focused on protecting or robbing a vault

Maybe an event to introduce a new Vault Breaker champion ;p ?

Interesting idea. Maybe having some vaults over the map randomly spawning or being hidden and the players have to break them by dealing damage.
