New Story: Child of Zaun

It's here! A new story settled in Piltover and Zaun and it has what I was waiting for for such a long time, Vi and Caitlyn in the same story interacting! And not just that, but it also shows Urgot in all his glory. Go, folks, listen to the voice, witness true strength in this new short story given to us: Child of Zaun

One thing I ask myself, I would love the writer to answer this, is if the voice is supposed to be the very same guy who survived the encounter with Urgot in the story "Sons of Ur". It seems fitting and that connection would simply be awesome.

It is just great, I can't tell you how much this all thrilled me. And as in many other stories, there is a character in here which I just would love to see added as a champion.

SPOILER ALERT Roe. Oh my, how I loved Roe as a character. Her bond with Vi, which is now fading away. How she is worshipping Urgot. It seems that she died at the end of the story, but I hope that this is not true. Maybe they can make it that Roe survived the poisoning, had to augment herself with chemtech and is now trying to free Urgot?

This could give me the crazy, scary yandere girl I was yearning for so long. Someone absolutely obsessed with Urgot, dedicating her entire life to him and his philosophy, while finally giving us a truly ugly female champion.

I hope everyone enjoys this read as much as I did. And discuss it at your hearts content!

Yeah that is absolutely the same character. That little bit of continuity blew my mind when I read it. What a great story, I can't wait to see what comes next from Zaun/Piltover.

The Vi and Cait drama is real

I feel like now all we need is to see how Camille, Ekko and Warwick are dealing with the changes in Zaun and Piltover and then they could do a big event

10/10 story though

Loved Urgot on this, he’s got the same kind of calm, well spoken madness that MCU Thanos did.

And of course, Vi and Cait are missing the point just as much as the voice did. It’s not symbiosis between Piltover and Zaun, it’s parasitism and oppression. Urgot didn’t create the anger and resentment the people of the sump felt for the system that is literally poisoning them to death every day, he just took the anger that was already there and channeled it to suit his own ends.

I actually cannot express how much I loved this story. Urgot is one of my favorite champs and I've dreamed of new story content about him and boy did it ever deliver. The conflict within Vi and even with Caitlyn was great too.

Cannot stress how much I love Urgot's portrayal in this; there's almost zero difference between him and the ideal he's heralding, not to mention how scary good he is at gouging people's characters (and thus, maybe targeting Vi to be the next example of his dogma), ruthless and efficient at executing plans and smart enough to plan ahead of everyone. All of these make him one of, if not the most terrifying villain in the LoL universe.

I am very much looking forward to the sequel.

I loved the story, but I kinda don't like how easily Vi and Cait captured Urgot. At the same time, his words before being locked away make me think its all part if his plan. I mean, all he needed to do to break the net was fire his shotgun knees which would have blown big holes in it and lit the rest on fire.

Urgot was as bad ass he ever could have been and him purposely killing people with the gas just for those who are stronger too live fits very well into his character and his values of strength which makes sense because he is a Noxian. I love how near the end Vi and Cait try to intimidate him when hes about to be locked up but he is calm and laughs at their empty threats since he doesnt fear what will happen to him or the pain he may endure as he has been in a similar situation before with when Swain betrayed him. Overall a very good story and we need more Zaun champs/stories because theres so much potential with them.

Now, all I want to know is what would happen if Urgot, Singed and Viktor finaly meet each other and decide to merge their vision of evolution into one big trial/experiment.

Those pilties aren't ready for that
