Reactivate The Programs

The Project skin line got new members recently and it came along with a great short story, giving us some insight into their universe.

However, unfortunately the story didn't give any hints towards the real bad guys in that universe, the Programs running the Project. But we could still get some information about them, if Riot will release a new Program skin line!

The Projects outnumber the Programs hugely.

While this seems logical, since they are the antagonist and the Project skin line is way more popular than the Programs, I would still like to add some champs to that list.

So let's look at possible candidates. They should fit the inherent design of Programs as well as delivering a purpose. All the Program skins at this point have a specific task they were built for.

She is the operating system, controlling the other programs. Standard working drone for everything. Medical care, she won't let you die. Manhunter. If you are disobeying the system, she gets activated to end you.

With this knowledge, I would call out the following champions as possible candidates.

Saving, analysing and processing data with her ball. Core surrounded by collective system of nanobots, construction. Transfer and transportation. Able to transport alot of Programs with his tunnels at once.

What are your thoughts about the Programs? Do you want to boot them up again or let them get lost in cyberspace? Do you have an idea for a Program skin for a champion? Would you like to read some lore about them like the Projects?

Interesting idea. The blood ball and his E could be pixelated, like that stuff Program Lissandra is using. His W could be him falling apart in polygones. And his ult is spreading a virus, of course.

I can see this working, but I don't know about the Ghost in the Shell hands. Don't get me wrong, I love that series and these hands are awesome, but I don't know if

Basically because he's wearing the nail rings on the base model they have some issues animating his hands on skins that use the same rig. So they either make them too big or give him some sort of other claws.

These could be improvised claws and will look great in the splash where he drives them into the heart of the system.

Could also have them in fully unfolded form in the recall animation.

Actually I want to see something more tattered and glitchy, not a polished program like Liss and Soraka but something that screams corruption.

Visually, I can see alot of these champions work for the skin line. But I would still like to read your opinion what should be their purpose in the Program system. ^^

Especially since I am aiming at getting some lore for the Program line, I want to collect ideas which fit the universe. Like I showed: All Programs have a task to fulfill.

-- Virus similar to Blood Magicks' idea. His Burn effect could be the virus slowly eating away at the target. Evelynn -- Recon/Hunter. Keeps an eye on PROJECTS. If any go awol (like Ashe), reports back to Lissandra/Syndra/Zyra. Takes action of hunting or letting Nocturne go after them according to what the OS tells her to do. Malzahar -- Virus taking over corpse (similar to Jhin). Manufactures chassis and armor for Programs. Voidlings are infected machines. -- Hunter. Goes after rogue AI. The Programs' trump card. Syndra -- Inferior OS to Lissandra, but still superior to Zyra. Works with Lissandra and Zyra. Balls act similar to your idea for Orianna-- saving and analyzing data wherever they land. Thresh -- Captures rogue PROJECTS or AI in Lantern for reprogramming or deleting. Zyra -- Inferior OS to Syndra, but still superior to the other Programs. Provides defense (plant turrets) to whatever construct the Programs and their bodies reside in.

I meant the amount of skins given to the themes, not the number of individuals in the lore. ^^
