TBH: Sharjo didn't "leak" anything, believe me. He hinted at stuff and whetted appetites, which I think has generated a LOT of really interesting theories that have led me back to the boards and have me hyped.

With me when I saw the teaser I was mildly interested. If anything Sharjo's hints really piqued my interest. Im more hyped than before, but that is just me.

Yea, that one line. Just like everyone who came here also said. Quite the optimistic response. Still sounds like covering to me. How wouldn't I lose it; I watch the video then come to the boards for theories and discussions and the first thing I see is sharjo giving info on the new champ. But w/e I'm not discussing this anymore, cuz it's pointless against the majority, including you.

I don't think its unfair that extra information was revealed with Ornn's teaser, after all it is his time to shine and it's pretty obvious what was unexpectedly revealed has created hype on top of everything. Even if the Piltoverian Sulk is crying about it.

Although in the past stuff like Volibear and Darius has.. for the lack of a better word, irked me personally. Especially that Darius lore isn't likely until Swain's rework, still a whole six months from now. In that case I question if it was way too early for explicit insight, even if we're only told of where Darius was born and other minor details.

Volibear on the other hand had lots of astonishing stuff mentioned. Which we (the community) have no clue when he'll likely receive an LU and unless Voli is getting one in the very near future then why did we _need _ that insider info? I can only guess with uncertainty, and at the time that lore bomb was dropped it could have meant something big was going on or it could have meant nothing at all any time soon.

For me it makes Voli and Darius more hyped. We know something about them but not everything, and it's keeping us guessing. I find that a better tease than Ornn, which is too vague imo.

I agree here. I don't see how he possibly ruined any hype, when really what he says just brings up more questions than answers and just gets everyone thinking a bit harder! There's still so many paths and options for the story to go based on only the little information we've gotten, how could it possibly be considered completely solved to the point of "we're going to already know everything the second his lore is released" already?

it just shows that you didnt have alot of hype to begin with. You and other people who lose hype from one statement seem to just not have alot of passion for the game and its lore. Sharjo didnt really say alot that the teaser didnt say him being very big not human and powerful well hes called the mountainsmith so its obvious that he would be some godly presence just like how Aurelion is called the Star forger. The idea that he cant be as strong as Aurelion is also kind of obvious Sol created the stars and is pretty much god of league. The whole 1 champion could fight him as they have before is either Liss, Sol, Galio, Rhaast/Aatrox etc. The fact that he has siblings brings alot more to the lore and makes him even more hyped it can bring so much lore to the Freljord which should be hyped anyways.

I had hype when I watched the video,(even swing my head with rythm) until I read comments. And being drawn to some one talking about how th new champions is. I know you're trying to defend him but right is right, you can't dry leak things just because a gaming company favors you.

Edit: plus whose being more rude? Genocider or the mob mentality to discredit Gen's main opinion, of which a Dev also happens to agree that Sharjo has gone a tad bit too far.

I doubt people give a rats ass if shajro was an actually rioter. This whole drama is pointless, if jaredan said what shajro had said would there be this uproar or accusation? Shajro at this point is da facto rioter anyways since he is in their payroll.

If anything GenociderX seems to have needlessly started pointless drama...

Also I don't see why their always this call for mob mentality when someone is being downvoted. People have disagree and if their rights to downvote, otherwise whats the point of having a downvote button?

Although I would never tell him (Sharjo) to stop, but I've had to dodge his comments as of late, sadly. However I eventually learn what he's been leaking by other peoples reactions anyway. But I would rather the reveal be a revelation then to learn it prematurely. Sorry bud but that is my individual perspective. It originates from the "Is Viktor a cultist!?" debate that came with the Piltover LU. If you remember the over reaction this community had, was so big Thermal Kitten had to assure us Viktor would not be associated to the church of the Glorious Evolved. The narrative team's intention was to let us wait in suspense thinking Viktor might be a cultist, only to be relieved at a latter date to the contrary once Viktor's own lore was released. Which I was personally disappointed they did not stick to their guns and do that. So I/we never got to have that suspenseful feeling, the potential was diminished because the outcome was made perfectly clear. Although the Viktor scenario is different, the consequences are similar.

I love this community, I want be apart of this community, I want to see the opportunity for other people to make theories while they wait in suspense for the pay off. To hype themselves further and more importantly give the hard working developers the pleasure to give it to us when the time is right.

Regardless I'm aware that the perspective of the majority will over shine those of the minority. Who typically get labeled as drama queens or what ever. And so yes I am being a "drama queen" my side is the illogical side; the fools opinion; this debate is in fact stupid. So like all the others who don't sympathize I give you too an upvote, you deserve it!

I actually feel the opposite way, Freljord champs aren't normally my kettle of tea, but having an idea of how big, powerful, and impactful this guy will be has gotten me 1000% more hyped, and there's definitely a lot more to speculate on before his release.

Meh, I really like the lore for Legends. But their actions leave me feeling like I should stop being a fan. I w/o a doubt(being the lore nerd I am) was hyped til Sharjo started talking about the champion him self. There's a lot to read from just that small amount of info.....An it's just day 1 for the teaser....

Yeah, there's a lot, I agree. But that doesn't mean there's nothing left to be excited about. We know this guy is huge - how huge? Anivia-sized? Galio-sized? Malphite-sized? Aurelion effin Sol-sized?

We know he's not human, so what is he? Some sort of lava spirit? A Watcher? An iceborn, perhaps an as-yet unkown brother of the Three Sisters, perhaps in possession of one or more of the World Runes?

Who's the champ that fought him in the past? Anivia? Lissandra? Pantheon? Brand? Ryze? Morde? Bard?

Yeah, Sharjo made an oopsie and answered some questions that weren't quite ready for answers yet. But honestly, he raised questions as well, and I'm so excited to see what the answers will be when the time comes.

Well, tell us then: Who or what do the Freljordians think gods are? If it's spoiled for you then you must know whether the Watchers are considered gods, or their ancestors, or animals like the goat, or if they're cosmic beings, or if they're spirits trapped on the earth, or some other thing I've missed. Also tell us who's the champion who contended with Ornn in the past? If this is spoiled for you, so surely you must know who.

You're calling "spoiled" too early. There's potentially more spoilers than that in the background of the scroll the song is written on than in the quote you posted.

Riot's poor decision by letting one player over all accessing their lore clearly backed fired. Sorry I am all about fairness, And I still find that unfair. Also, to your questions, how would I know this? It's off- topic. And as I said the phase waiting for his bio comes to mind

I don't get what you mean by Riot letting someone on their payroll (which, unless I'm mistaken, Sharjo is) access their lore having clearly backfired, considering how many people are, y'know, not complaining and are potentially more hyped.

I can understand Sharjo, he is excited and he wants us to see it too. And for some people, as you, he spoiled Ornn, but for many, like me, he created even better hype. Tbh, he barely gave information. As Cetri commented, we don't know what he is even when he is not human. We don't know how big he is. We don't know who are his siblings. These are just things that create even more questions, it drives people insane on theories.

Sharjo has just created better hype for many.

Let me tell, I'm not jealous at all. Trust me. I'm all about fairness, and to me, it isnt fair. Everyone now has to wait for one person to deliver some lore instead of everything being on the same level, having the same anticipation, making theories and such. You really can't do that anymore now that he occasionally will come and deliver some lore tidbits(which he has and not just for Ornn either.

I don't why Riot did it, But i'm sure it's favoritism that got him his position. Mainly becasue of the type of threads he made, and trust there have been plenty of threads just like it. What about those people? Oh.

And I don't know where this grudge thing came from, this is the first time I spoke about it, if i did i would have said something months ago when it happens.

But hey, Mob mentality and favoritism is the Story and Art boards now.(It isn't just Sharjo either)

How is him being a consultant on the Lore and posting the smallest teasers functionally different than a Rioter posting the smallest teasers like in the Dev Blog? Both play the game, one just gets paid more by Riot.

Sharjo is rito-paid and did the same thing Reav3 did in the road map... the only difference was that Reav3 was lowbrow but both him and Sharjo just wanted to hype. If any side is unreasonable it's you bud. Just don't cut Ornn out too soon and stop being upset someone, WHO MADE LORE TIMELINES AND LORE TL;DR's AND MADE RIOT LIKE THEM ENOUGH FOR THEM TO LET THEM IN THE TEAM, shared info about Ornn which could have easily been speculated from the teaser.

The Freljordians speak about Ornn the way Hawaiian culture spoke about the Volcanoes. In the song they talk about Ornn not as a person but as a place.

there is still the hype to know his entire lore in full, his siblings , his past and his current role in the story of league and freljord.

there is his kit , his weapon, his appearance. more reason to be hyped for it.

to be honest this just created more questions and wonders to me.and makes me more eager to learn what this champion is. having no base information doesn't create that much of a hype.at least not for me.

im not defending anyone or anything here im just saying i prefer it this way that riot gives us a bit of a "keep you in the dark while giving you some basic information" method. leaves more room for speculations and guesses rather than having nothing to go with.

i didnt even downvote cause i can understand why you are upset. i just dont think there is anything anyone can do. people make mistakes. anyone who says i dont is a delusional fool.all we can do is forgive it and hope it never happens. i mean if it was everyday every champion sure, but this rarely happens.
