What a big let down Ekko's lore was...

I mean seriously. You had the mural in the Video and his quotes that led us to figure out he know's both Jinx and Vi. When his lore was going to be revealed I thought it would have at least something related to how he knew the two. Especially since it's clear that he shows concerns for friends. Even if they are not in zaun anymore.

Like come one Riot, stop misleading us into believing that we would get something worth or something a lot of people expected. Seriously, you did this with bard. Constellations hint's that theres floating Villages in Ionia. Bard's mountain video hints how the Noxian Invasion was Retconned. But you don't even capitalize on that? No follow ups? Not even a little story for bard? So, another champion with "hints" thats going down the drain. Like you guys know how much the community like the story of Vi and Jinx and you can't even make something happen with it.

Ekko's lore mentioned nothing except the fact that he created his time device. But his has quotes to other champs that suggest more that that. Like what's the point of giving champions quotes to other champions when you don't even want to do anything with the lore? Absolutely no reason.

I mean come on, i know lore is the petty part to you guys, But you have fans who want to see lore expand too. Not just game play, skins, or National teams fighting to be the best at league of legends. This is so sad. You have a small group of the LoL community asking just for one thing and can't get a dime. Meanwhile you have people complaining about Kalista's gameplay and you instantly capitalize on it. Why? Because I people recognize that you guys don't know how to balance out champions for a game they're going to stop playing. Did you ever consider that it's the same way with lore? How many people do you think left after the Great retcon Announcement last year? I know 3 of my friends that stop playing this game because the lore was ruined and they played this game before me.

And lore was the only reason I started playing this game. I check the boards everyday in hopes of some development with lore. And I just get even more disappointed. When looking at Ekko's vid and hearing his quotes I made This thread In hopes that something similar would come with Ekko's lore. No. Not even. Just some simple info on what his device is and what we already new what he does.

You guys really have disappointed me, for the whole year I've been playing LoL.

I've given up on the lore sadly. I really really REALLY love this game's lore...but since the Retcon I've been getting less into it and sort of stopped caring, which actually says a lot coming from me.

I was one of the biggest ore geeks I will admit, could tell you all sorts of random crap, but I just don't care anymore, cause the lore is barely surface deep let alone as deep as it was previously, most champs get hints at lore that are never finished, or left hanging, and we barely get teases, and the lore is barely more than a paragraph with some lines in game recently.

I sadly got past disappointed and turned apathetic, cause Riot seems to be borderline the same, and still putting their fingers in their ears going "lalalalala" to people saying they want lore, while claiming people don't really care about the lore.

Been playing since 2010, and I've finally stopped caring about anything lore related, which I'm just gonna be honest and say it partially correlates the fact that my play time has significantly dropped off, as I just don't care about the champs past "hey a guy that throws javelins" etc etc.

The lore released is his in-client summary. This isn't his full lore. He'll have a lot more online when he's released; stop complaining.

It kind of seems like the do enough story pieces (videos etc) to spotlight a champion on their release, then once they've been out awhile, it fades to make way for the next one.

It's all a hype train.
