Both are violent warriors from the Freljord. Both were magically transformed by touching something they shouldn't have Ivern however has become a compassionate force of cycles while Brand is mindless fiery destruction. If the two met how would it go I wonder?

I think Brand is being shifted to being near Shurima. Could be wrong though.
It's hard to tell, especially because Brand's lore is getting rewritten. He's the embodiment of destruction, which is opposite and complementary to the principle of creation. Therefore it's not out of question that Brand's very existence could be necessary for Runeterra (to a certain extent), but we don't know if Ivern cares about it. He's all about keeping the current natural order in balance, while Brand's actions and their consequences are... radical, to say the least.
