Riot I have a question about splash artwork. (Not a rage post)

I understand that you don't want to spend the extra time and money to make two splashes for the same skin. And I completely agree that you shouldn't have to.

But my question is this. Why not leave both the Chinese splash arts and NA splash arts alone, and simply make future splash arts to fit both regions? This way you wont be spending extra time and money making separate splash arts, and also be able to update the different Chinese and NA splash arts as they age rather than going through the amount of community backlash that you are.

To me this seems like it would be the safest route to take. But that's just my opinion on the matter.

Would love to receive a reply!

Sincerely, Embertine http://i1378.photobucket.com/albums/ah116/Daniel_Fritsch/Lorana_zps6bvfd4yb.png

That is pretty much what they want to do.

They said that they want to make entirely new splash arts for most of these affected splash arts, its just that this will take some time. And they unify the splash art appearances so that they don't have to waste time&resources on different splash art pipelines in the meantime.

You seem to be misthinking something, not to be rude. They actually haven't made separate splash arts for other countries for a while now, and a good majority of the splash arts being replaced, are also old themselves, they're just a better (Or sometimes worse) version of Old. I don't understand the real reason why they're unifying everything, other than the fact that it helps clean things up and simplify the process for future things.

It's weird...I'm still expecting some kind of meme.

Anywho, I completely agree with the thread

As of now they seem really busy replying to AP change threads, so I don't think you'll get a reply from them.

Having new splashes is good, although it requires a lot of time and resources for all champions, even if you exclude the newer ones. So, I doubt they will do it anytime soon.

Asking this on multiple posts: I have an honest question.

I am an artist and I have bought my skins based 100% on the SPLASH ART not the in game appearances. So, having paid for a certain work and having it change on me, am I able to have my RP refunded? Im not asking for any actual money back, just the RP (which I'll use for another splash i appreciate). Is this an option?
