From Metal, to KPop, to Hip Hop. Props to everyone who worked each band skin

Every band released, they always blow it out of the park. I know people have different tastes, and each band is not for everyone, but can we give a huge amazing props to the the Production team, music team and design team for creative amazing skins and music. It’s actually so diverse, seeing types of genres being explored so actually well.

True Damage for me hit the hip hop genre on the spot. From the rap flows, to rhythm drops and lyrics, the band and singers nailed everything to the style.

I would not compare K/DA and True Damage or Pentakill because they’re both different styles and would not be fair.

I’m happy they’re moving to this direction with music. Songs like Awkaen and Phoenix should also give a huge shoutout to them too. I’m excited for what next in the future of music in league, and now other games too.

Thank you so much for the kind words! True Damage was my first music skins project. I was the narrative writer and wrote Ekko's in game voice lines, so seeing your appreciation means so much to me [sg-soraka]

These bands are why Mundo's CEO. The music business is brutal.

Still want a Zillionaire Zilean skin though....

Yeah, each group has made something special.

Though you can compare Akali on both of these past music groups, since her part is done by Soyeon of G-Idol. I think it was more impactful in the K/DA song since she had a bigger presence in that song, which is unfortunate for True Damage.

True Damage itself though is pretty nice. Really enjoyed the different animation style they always go with for each of these as well. From CGI to a more traditional looking style. It's always a fun surprise to see where that can take the songs as well.

Seeing Metal, pop and now more hip-hop/rap it makes me wonder where the next music group might take us.

I'm looking forwards to these animated bands more than I do each years worlds.

Fantastic job

I wish they'd update pentakills skins to the level of the other two music groups since it's the only group with champions who don't get any skin love (did akali really need two music skins?)

I loved all of it.

I hope that they are doing a punk rock project next, with Jinx as the lead singer.

None of the music skin lines are really my thing, but it's undeniable that Riot puts a lot of effort in to these skin lines. I'd even use skins like Pentakill Karthus and Kayle, and True Damage Ekko and Senna, because they're good despite the fact that they're a part of those skin lines.

I only wish other skin lines got this much love. I think things like Praetorian could have been so much better than they are if Riot maybe gave them things to tie in to all the other robotic skin lines, for instance.

2013 worlds opener is still the best musically :)

The orchestra was gorgeous, Crystal Method's ambience was heavenly, NiN's drummer added a solid groove, and Wes Borland's appearance was epic. Then when they all got blended in together at the ending of the song for the climax.... man good times.
