Unlike the rest of the community, I rather like Sol's voiceover. He's an asshole, but badass.
Kinda like the above Bane of Kings.
EDIT: Sorry, saw a couple of topics that said "Sol's VO sucks" and thought it stood for everyone. My bad.

hold on, wait, hold on man.
dafuq you mean "unlike the rest of the community"
I don't think I've seen anyone who disliked Sol's voice, lots of people consider it the best part. Don't know where you're getting that idea.
Please tell me I missed something about his story/background/personality. Because if tumblr-level insults and the wit of a highschool-blogger are enough to be considered badass, I'll be very, very sad.
If you have a lot of power and have been alive longer than most, you're going to look down on those less powerful, with short lives, and who you deem unworthy. Classic stories of gods and dragons being outwitted are common, often because of their pride or arrogance.
So yes, star dragon with centuries/ages/whatever of wisdom and knowledge can still be a condescending asshole. It'd be surprising if he wasn't.
i like his voice more than his kit
Sol reminds me of Reddington, from Blacklist... I can't hate James Spader, or things that remind me of him.
He reminds me of Gilgamesh from Fate/Zero. Sure he's an arrogant douche bag, but A he really is that awesome and B there's so much more to him than that.
Eh, I'd say Alduin is cooler. What you see in TESV: Skyrim doesn't do him justice (even if he looks awesome). Alduin is the world-eater. Literally. He devours reality so it can start anew.
