The sheer amount of detail is astonishing. The lining on his pauldrons were given a second layer which makes his armour look so much better. His helmet especially has so much more character now with the glowing eyes and more metal-like textures.

And don't get me started on "Numero Uno". His Axe guitar looks so much better with more refined edges and spikes.

And to top it all off... he has a CUSTOM recall where he laughs and SHREDS HIS F*CKING GUITAR.

I know his VGU might be coming pretty soon but it's these little things that really makes me feel my champion isn't forgotten. So thank you, definitely my favorite Mordekaiser skin now.

his recall is taken from other animations that already exist on him

his old recall was his laugh, now it now includes his dance animation as well

I'm glad we were able to do your dude proud. :)

We appreciated the feedback that you, and other Mordekaiser mains gave us when he was on PBE. I'm also glad he didn't end up with a Dorito helmet. ;)

The recall isn't custom, we simply took his dance animation and re-purposed it for his recall 'cause we felt that matched better with this skin. Old skins without recalls instead use idles and emotes for their recalls anyhow, and we felt this would be the best one to use for Pentakill. We also did something similar with Sona and Olaf. This isn't something we'd do each time a legacy is updated, but we felt this was a great opportunity to level up these skins that was super low scope.

Addings some more bright really did the trick for him, though I kind of miss the very first version of his Pentakill skin, with all the details on his Guitar Axe of Soul Gathering and little scratches on his armor.

Sona got kind of a similar treatment, only that her first penakill skin was pretty bad due to the size (still looks kinda weird at the end of the dress, but that's a shared issue with most skins). Also got a recal, which is just a repetition of attack (2), crit, joke, and ult animations. Even though that's kinda lame, that makes the 975 RP Pentakill have a recall animation, while 1350 RP Arcade doesn't. Also, somehow, Riot made her breasts bigger.

didn't they recently go back and give everyone a recall animation? I could be wrong but I seem to remember they took the idle animations for champs/skins and use them as the recall animation since... when was the last time you saw your idle animation?

Pentakill definitely my favorite skinline now.

I wish they gave PK Karthus an update. He looks the most different in the music video from his in game to the video compared to the others.

I like it for the most part, I just have one issue.

The eyes.

I like the glow, but because the bright parts are on the sides, and imagine those to be his pupils (for some reason), it looks to me like he's got extropia.
