ahri's arcade skin is disappointing

edit: lol u guys r so fake i get downvoted for saying theyre good skins i get downvoted for complainin about them u cant even say im wrong ur just mad i even vaguely mentioned boobs as not being the optimal design choice back 2 post:

it feels like the guys with arcade skins have strong thematic references while the girls in this skin line seem to be how lonely dudes imagine their manic pixie gamer girlfriend to be,

like excluding veigar because his is a legendary skin and is incomparable to the other arcade skins, ezreal is obviously referencing cloud from final fantasy, hecarim's is obviously referencing robot unicorn attack, corki's is galaga/starfox, even blitzcranks references those boxing robots

miss fortune, sona, and riven seem to be just colourful pixel fvx boobs and small references to retro gaming consoles littered about their design

and while looking very cute and pretty, it just seems like ahri's arcade skin seemed like so much wasted potential. vulpix/ninetails? okami? naruto? tails (sonic)?

you can make more of a connection to nyan-cat with this skin than anything i listed because the tails change colour in the video

like im pretty sure riot was into designing girls that are more than just an anime girl with big boobs but i feel like the skins teams didnt get the memo

Mf is playing "duck hunt" sonas playing on her board constantly, and ahris having fun on an old game, while rivens deciding which sword in her inventory to wreck face with next whats wrong with that?

I think having a good skin is more important than making an homage to something. Arcade Ahri, Sona and MF are well made skins so it doesn't really bother me that they don't have many or any references to classic video games.

I think Riven,Sona and MF are referencing other games quite well. Riven is basically an action-adventure protagonist MF references light gun games Sona references dance dance revolution(sorry viktor) or dancing games in general

And I think that the arcade line is more about referencing certain genres/types of games than specific things. Hecarim strongly resembles robot unicorn attack,but his axe is also a guitar,thus referencing guitar-hero games(and others like that).

Ezreal references JRPGs in general,the fact that he looks a lot like cloud is mostly because Cloud is the most well known JRPG-protagonist.

And Corki references all these galaga-like games.

And Veigar and Blitzcrank aren't even arcade skins and are more a reference for specific types of bosses in games. Veigar is the evil sorceror(who is quite commonly the final boss) and blitzcrank the evil robot.

Now about Ahri: Well it is hard to tell what ahri references with her skin,I think we'll have to see the skin in action before we can judge it. However your suggestions don't seem that fitting. I mean an Okami-like skin would be cool for her,but it wouldn't fit the arcade theme at all. Same goes for Naruto(and while there are naruto games,it is still an anime-franchise) And since the Arcade theme has a lot of rainbow colors I think that giving her rainbow tails was the right decision,other tails wouldn't have been fitting for the arcade theme.

Arcade Ahri was a waste of spot, just using her popularity to help the skin line since nobody really plays corki at the moment.

I like the arcade skin line as i have arcade sona and mf
