@Riot, Have you guys ever considered making an anime?

With Netflix and Sony joining the anime community, anime is becoming more and more mainstream.

I would love to see a League of Legends anime. Zoe is my favorite character so far in design and personality. I think a LoL anime is the best thing that could ever happen to Riot's community and it'd be crazy to see the LoL animated.

Even if you make a short series with Faker or other challenger players playing, like Quanzi Gaoshou, I think it'll be very entertaining skills.

Budget-wise, it's quite taxing. So it's just a fleeting dream. There are also time constraints, etc. But has it ever been considered? And what would you do if you could have the opportunity to work on a League anime full-time?

If by joining you mean carving out an exclusive slice of it and adding themselves to the ever growing list of streaming services you have to pay for it you want to be able to watch any particular show you like, then yes. They are 'joining' the anime community.

Seriously, I forsee in our future a situation where one streaming service out-bids another for season 2 of a show that aired on a different service, and all the fans of the show will be forced to buy into a new streaming service just to keep up with the show they love. I say fuck those streaming services, it's not actually a competitive market if they hold exclusive rights to shows.

If Riot makes an anime I hope they do it right, by either keeping it free on their own website (and making money from the ads) or by never allowing any particular streaming site the exclusive rights to stream it (they could stream it but they could not use legal bullshit to prevent other sites from streaming it).
