Hard ass hot woman who survives terrors and has little emotion. That’s Kai and every other one of her characters based around her in a nutshell. Also if she is a hard survivor in the worst place on league of legends universe, why does she have her chest open, looks like a super model, and look like she has make up on? Her voice is really up to you to decide if it fits. For me it doesn’t, but I can understand what they were going for. Just a reminder, Kai’sa Design is fine, it gets the job done, but I wish they went the whole 9 yards except stoping half why just to keep the 13 year old boys happy.

Two things:

She actually does show emotion. She seems at peace with the current situation where she's finally back on Runeterra, but she's also aware that her fight isn't over. She seems to be happy when remembering things from before she got to the Void, and is understandably confused by what her father has become. She doesn't seem to hate Malzahar, but she doesn't like what he's doing. And if you're wondering why she seems emotionless at times, she's at war. She's not Zoe or Aurelion, she's not a godlike being. Sure, she has her symbiote but she has to take things seriously because she's still mortal.
Her chest is only open when she doesn't have her battle mode going. I imagine that when she was actually fighting in the void she wore the suit over her entire body when fighting, but it would also probably be nice to not be constricted by the suit 24/7, which is likely why she shows more skin when not suited up. My justification for why she still manages to maintain her appearance is that if I were to get back from a hostile alien world, first thing I'd probably want to do is freshen up. Or maybe the suit keeps her clean. We don't have all the details yet.

Kai'Sa can cover up her body and face. She probably removes it when she wants to breathe.

She wasn't inside the void,just in a cave,that was infested with void creatures. And she's likely been out for several years now.

Besides her comic shows that she does put up the helmet during combat,she likely only puts it down when she tries to talk with other people or out of combat.
