The hope is they don't skip over anyone, but there's no guarantees.

Breaking it down it looks something like this:

Only two champions from Demacia have their lore up to current standards: Poppy and Fiora. As such there are ten remaining Demacians and they all need work.

Of those ten, one is guaranteed to get his lore updated in the near future: Galio, putting the number of Demacians needing work to nine.

Of those nine, two could feasibly be sidelined because what they've got works ok in the current setting with little need for change: Quinn and Lucian, who were made in a time where the IoW was being phased out in a major way, but it wasn't on full course yet. This leaves us with seven champions:

That's within reason for a regional update I'd say, since if Galio is the catalyst for a Demacia update, that'd make eight if only the seven above were updated, which puts it on par with the Zaun update.

Now of course that's just one way of thinking about it, so don't lose hope! Nothing's confirmed until the day comes and we actually know who's gonna be included in a supposed Demacia update, if one even is coming with Galio or not.

But if they did skip over Sona I'd cry. Just putting that out there.
