The mist tries to kill him, but his regeneration flushes it out too quickly. But not quickly enough to get 100% rid of it. This result is quite a grotesque and probaly insane...
Yeah I wonder about that too,he sounds like a character that could be easily brought back either as a champion(the question is how would you do an undying champion?) or at least as an NPC

hie flesh rengens but i dont think he is immortal i think the mist would have changed hitb power so that flesh decays around him including his own
