Is the VU team dead?

We haven't had any champion updates for a couple of patches now. No MTU's, no full VU's and no splash updates. Has the team disbanded and people relocated to the much more important Chroma skin team?

Champion Update Team is alive and well, and they are currently working very hard on several projects! They still have a long list of champs that need various tiers of updates. As far as MTU's go, all the teams planned MTU's have been completed. Hopefully this was helpful! :3

Any news on Tarics vu ? i would love to see gems growing on his arms and his back when he lvls up his w. But honestly i want to see his arms covered or "corrupted with gems" similar to varus´ look but with gems instead of purple black stuff. But i hope that his shield at least grows out of his arm so it makes a difference to the other shields like braums and leonas . Like a crystaline shard or sliver so his look wouldnt be too generic and as a visual feedback people would notice that taric suddenly carries a huge gem sliver on his arm he is now tanky kind of thing ... i always hated the floating gem circle it just looks like its just as big as taric himself. And please increase his size with the amount of armor he has so people will notice that sht is about to go down or let his tiara grow a cristaline helmet or something. u got till winter so gogogooo make the gem knight proud.

It wasn't...

Quinn was promised an expedited MTU (or TU?) over 2 years ago now... it was being worked on from that point forward, we were told.

I struggled for that two years to get a response out of you guys. Finally reached IronStylus like 3 months ago (this' 3 mo's. SINCE the 2 year mark or so)... made numerous threads since trying to get a follow-up & have received nothing.

We were promised for a variety of reasons.

Please, I humbly ask you to revise your schedule to put a rush-order on Quinn's MTU, so as to respectfully fulfill your company's promise to us players & fans... please.

Here's what has been confirmed or actively talked about. (I COULD BE WRONG ON SOME THOUGH)

Evelynn Identity still in discussion. (What is she?)

Poppy Near completion now.

Ryze Recent kit update, VU pushed back.

Taric New kit is 90% complete but will not be shipped out until VU. "potentially" out by the end of the year.

Warwick Currently experimental kit, VU to accompany it.

Yorick Recently re-prioritized and is now being worked on. Still a long ways out.

I remember when they said that Taric will be out in the early 2015, lol. I wonder if they will delay him once again.

I remeber when they said they were hoping Taric would be ready by early 2015 but weren't making any promises. I wonder if there were unforeseen, uncontrollable delays or if the first few ideas for his kit just didn't work out.

They also said that Urgot s is getting worked on and he is planned to be the next big relaunch after poppy.

The team that did the VUs is the same team that does all types of champion updates, hence them being called Champion Update Team. So they've got a lot of stuff they are doing, like the Ashe rework that's coming up. So just cause there's no VU/MTU type updates for awhile doesn't mean they are gone.
