DeadEye Jhin

An Ionian deadeye who works an elder, with the express task of enforcing balance should anything disrupt it. He's been on the trail of Zed and Syndra for years now, waiting for his opportunity to strike, and it seems to have presented itself.

Of course that could be all bollocks; I'm just throwing words out at this point.

Not DeadEye Jhin... Ao Jhin kappa.

But in all seriousness I can't wait to see what DeadEye will look like. His name sounds so simple (almost like one would've or should've heard it before) yet it's still unique I think.

Jihn sounds very similar to Djinn, also known as a Genie. Djinn are able to possess people, causing a multitude of problems, so he could be akin to Dota's Lifestealer, or HotS's Abathur, where he possesses a target ally/enemy for some weird effect.

At this point this is just my speculation based on 2 recent ones after zed, but theres a strange correlation i found...all the kills so far symbolize some sort of frailty as well as hidden messages with where the 3 champs were shot. Zed was shot through the eye, and sakura petals came through the other eye. Zed uses shadows, and shadows/darkness in general can blind if the intensity of the darkness is strong enough, and the petals, as spoken in other comments are very frail. Sona was shot through the throat and some butterflies can be made out in the misty visual coming from her mouth. Sona, as we know is mute and butterflies are also fragile creatures. And as of now, Garen was shot through his arm, piercing through his arm and back, but his particles are that of a green looking glass. "The might of Demacia" shot through the arm as well as the strongest and most important organ in the body completely cripples his "might" and glass is pretty strong, but once it cracks, even slightly, it's more likely to break even further. So i think each kill is supposed to symbolize each one, based on their abilities/reputation and their own personal sort of frailty that matches them (in some way) but this is just a theory, and i don't know exactly how each symbol matches up, which is why i didnt explain in depth, but it's a start. Now all we need to do is wait for the final champ teaser to see how close my theory is.

Wouldn't it be cool if Deadeye jhin was like an ionian bounty hunter or something and it turns out he's the dude who killed the guy Yasuo was framed for? Probably not who he/she is but it would be a cool thing to add in the lore

Similarities: Left home at a young age to join another Suffer from regret/guilt Disconnect themselves emotionally Feel wronged by their parent figure in some way (or wronged them) Associate negative emotions with parental figures Suffer from sadness and rage Had good intentions that led to bad consequences Use League as a way to make things right

If they're to release a new champion, based on the art done for the Deadeye, I don't think he's a hired killer, or some vengeance seeker like Kalista. I think Deadeye is going to be some form of release. Sorta like Kindred, the spirits of death. If anything, this Deadeye is targetting those who suffer from guilt, and their negative thoughts/actions maybe are what give him power?

Also, they all have the same weakness in life. They're alone. They all want something they can't have, and bury the emotions. Not only that, but all of them have lost a parental figure in their life. Garen was taken by the military, like his sister Lux. Zed killed his father figure out of rage once he was exiled from home. Sona has no memory of her parents, and her instrument killed her adopted parent. Vi grew up on the streets abandoned and has lived a life alone. They all have lost their parents either through death or some form of rejection. This champion seems heavily focused on the theme of abandonment and regret. I think honestly this is going to be some kind of emotions made manifest champion.

Jhin? The deadeye is probably an ADC, he has killed: Zed, mid lane assassin Sona, support Garen,top lane tank Vi, jungler

according to urban dictonary Jhin a totally awesome guy/gal that has the magical powers of a Genie, can grant you any wish, and has rainbow colored hair. Jhins are usually people with eccentric personalities. Some of their hobbies may include gorilla theatre, casting curses, and attending raves.

NEW THEORY: ITS REALLY INTERESTING What if when zed was screeching in Pain when Zed's master was in there with him, The master was really infusing himself into zed's body or soul, and he was screeching in pain cause the master was practically ripping his soul and corrupting him into what he is now, or maybe zed is the master and Jhin is the left over part of zed's corrupted soul or vise versa, and since shen found zed with the with the master beside him cause the masters soul was gone from the body and into zed. And thats why shen thinks zed killed his master and zed said he killed his master for a cover up but really the master is in zed or IS ZED. And that why hes called dead eye cause zeds soul is focused on taking back his formal body that his master over ran and thats why he has a target on zed and thats why the 1st teaser was zed!?!?! THIS IS A WORK IN PROGRESS THEROY PLS DONT HATE I NEVER DONE THIS BEFORE

Guys i dont know what Jhin is.But i believe it will be so op cause there is a big mystery behin these 4 champions.I like the game itself but the history is so addicting,the game has sense such as Diablo etc.We are waiting for big reveal cause its a new year!

Could be "Jhin: The Deadeye."

Probably a marksman, but could be a fighter with an eye motif.
