What even is the lore anymore? Yes I am mad as somebody who mained Shyvana four seasons. And liked her since S2. Very mad.

Riot is horrible when it comes to the lore anymore. They ripped the heart out of the story. Twisted everything to fit their social narratives and "moral relativism" obsession. And then just keep rewriting everything ad infinitum because they are incompetent writers with no world building capacity. Not even going to be polite about it. I knew it was doomed when they took out the League and Institute, it was what made the lore connect to the game, made the characters function together, let you pit any of them against each other or on the same team, and was actually a tad unique. It has been a downward spiral since, and those who want to defend it typically point to the teenage prose mini stories with lots of adjectives, and claim that means it is all okay.

Why would I ever invest in a world that keeps rebooting, completely changing the core and intent of characters, and changes their mind every five minutes about what is and isn't canon?

There is so much incompetence we get accidentally posted bios, devs conflicting on what is canon, and non-story team personnel writing ministories that end up canon but not?

But I'm sure you'll pit out a fancy looking map or music video or new skin or little ministory of fanfic quality to make everything all better.

When will you learn that your actions have consequences!? When will you learn you cannot just change beloved characters every few months and keep completely respinning the world, without pissing off people who like it? When will you gaming industry movie industry people stop lazily rebooting, rehashing, renewing everything just to trample on the hopes and dreams of existing fans?

How about competently told new stories?

Egh... why do I bother. No elitist writer or company these days will ever admit people have legitimate grievances. It's all just "inferior little trolls".
