Darius. A True Noxian or another tool in Swain's schemes?

Hi all. I wanted to talk a bit Darius's morality in regards to Noxus and Swains plans. First of all. I find it odd that a man from the underbelly of Noxus and a potential former child soldier ended up serving someone who clearly has a multitude of hidden agendas and is allied with the same people that disgrace the true philosophy of Noxus, the same philosophy that he himself embodies and is the symbol of.

So what is Darius's plan? Is he willingly serving Swain without a clue about his schemes, is he getting more and more disgusted with the Noxian high command remaining, is he plotting a rebellion? What is his purpose as the Hand of Noxus. To become an Icon of Noxus and truly seek to purge it of corruption? Or, to be a smokescreen and a pawn. Those are questions that Riot haven't really answered us as Noxus is far more mysterious that people realise due to them being hellbent on conquest.

Darius is the epitome of "Anyone can rise to power in Noxus" considering he's not a born Noxian, and I wouldn't expect Swain to be disrespectful of that fact. If anything I think Swain would look to Darius as one of the most powerful allies he could have.

I think Darius is not disgusted with Swain. He is more in-line with him. He seems to see Swain as something that Noxus need. All in all, Swain got his power absolutely in-line with Noxus' perspective of getting power. He sure did it with some shady things, blackmail, dirty schemes and betrayal of some folks in power.. But that's where Swain's strength lies. So, I think, Darius is kinda ok with that. He just uses Swain to get some power, just like Swain uses him to establish his power. They are more of a duo.

Also, Darius is not a good man. He is man, who have strength and knows how to use it. Why would he for no reason become hero and try to change the system that served him so well? Why would he rebell?

And I think that Darius uses 'purge' of Noxus' top generals just to strengthen the nation, not to rival with the super tops

Darius is an icon in Noxus as both a exemplary leader and solider. He's also one who, to most Noxians, represents the epitomy of their core traits and values. Darius, imo, truly believes Noxus is a nation worth fighting for, and Swain is most likely using Darius's image and passion to fuel his own motives. However, Darius is probably not oblivious to this, but he's willing to play along because he sees that Swain is brilliant and could help bring Noxus back into a seat of power that Darius himself couldn't do alone.

I think Kata and Talon are more tools than Darius, Dari and Swain must be hiding sth about Noxus that Kat and Tal didn't know, while Swain also holds some truth that even Dari not allowed to know
