Tinfoil hat theory regarding Noxus and Mordekaiser

So we all know that the Immortal Bastion, Mordekaiser's old Fortress and center of his empire is now under Noxus' control and serves as its capital. This lead me to question just who the Proto-Noxians might have been... and then it hit me.

Mordekaiser is several centuries old and what was once his empire included both Noxus and Demacia. The fall of the Murder emperor might have freed those outer areas (Demacia and Co.) from his grasp but what if Noxus' civilization is based on Morde's philosophy. His people/subordinates were influenced by the Tyrant's doctrines and through the ages the source of "The Strong take it all" philosophy ws lost to time, nobody remembering the dark Revenant who ruled with an Iron fist.

It might just explain how stark the differences between the other Nations seem to be, Noxus still clinging to Morde's philosophy and being vastly influenced by the culture he governed at the peak of his power.

Mordekaiser is almost an analogue for the Runeterran Genghis Khan. Noxus, who values strength above all, may have carried a certain reverence for him and his kingdom to this day. This brings up another question, do any Noxians know the location of the Immortal Bastion or the secrets held within? In before Swain finds Mordekaiser's skeletal remains and attempts to manipulate/threaten him (key word here being "attempts").

Seems reasonable, actually. Looking forward to what the conflict between he and Noxus could be, in the future.

Pssst the Ruined King came after Morde's era and still had several parts of the lands of both Demacia and Noxus.

hmmm... interesting

I wouldn't say this is a "tinfoil hat theory" - seems likely.
