Regarding the upcoming Vayne lore and some things left unfinished from the Journal of Justice

It's of course her involvement in the Black Rose, which was hinted at in the latter chapters of the Journal.

I feel like there isn't even any point to listing why continuing this storyline can lead to so many good subplots. It will make her so much cooler than the rich white Lucian she is sometimes thought to be. A player on a global scale, whose plans extend throughout the continent - Demacia doesn't really have anyone like that. She can show both the darker side of her faction and a deeper level of it.

Judging by her related champions - and - she's onto something so hard it will be a sin not to write about it. The Journal also implied a link with .

Holy shit that art though, only type vayne looked human and oh my lord, she looks like in the old school Noir films.

Vayne is at the moment known to be a local vigilante, crusading against the use of black magicks on Demacia's streets. However, that does not add up. Demacia is a place where dark magic would be stifled to non-existence not only because of its peoples and ideals, but also the damn city itself. The materials are anti-magic, especially potent against black magicks.

I think Vayne is a bit more than she sets herself up to be. And I think she has seen the works of Vladimir and the suffering undead behemoth Sion, and feels that she should end them, but her undercover status when infiltrating the belly of Noxus prevents her from doing what she feels should be done. And I'd like to think since she and Talon do similar work, they may have casually brushed past each other on a street not knowing who the other person is, or even clashing at some point. But the latter would imply they both left alive, indicating that either some deus ex machina happened (and we'd have to suppose they're neither in Noxus or Demacia) or they failed to kill each other, which is uncharacteristic of their skill and willingness to leave no witnesses.

I would love to see a full-on battle between the Crimson Reaper, whose body is invincible to physical strikes, and the Night Hunter, whose mobility and tactfulness makes her a worthy adversary for the most powerful practitioners of the dark arts.

To be honest, there's a ton of potential with her lore, not only from a character standpoint.

We got Garen against Darius as the most obvious clash of the two nations, both being public figures that represent their nations as their "Posterboys", yet there's much more to Noxus and Demacia's relationship then battling each other on the fields of war.

There's plotting, scheming, darker sides to both nations. We got the Black rose pulling the strings behind Noxus' uprising, just waiting to be revealed. Demacia themselves lack a structured cult leading from the shadows, and here's where Vayne comes in.

Unlike Garen and Darius, she can connect the two nations through their more secretive nature. Besides, who wouldn't want to see Vayne and Vlad interact like Dracula and Van Helsing?
