Should there eventually be a Champion with a "Robin Hood"-esque story?

So far, League doesn't have a Robin Hood-esque character in its roster, and I'm thinking that could be a nice addition to the roster. Basically, League needs a thief, and said thief could be the type who steals from the rich and gives to the poor. Charitable heroes like that are always a nice addition to a fantasy story, IMO.

But I doubt everyone would agree with me on that. They could say "cliche" or "boring", so how could we "Leagueify" it? (Well, for starters, I'd have said thief NOT be a bow-user, because Ashe monopolizes that already.)

Anyone want to discuss? Or is it just going to be a torrent of "wrong board" reports?

I am only approving this idea if the character is visually a fox like in the old cartoon!

Never too late to make one of Evelynn . She just happens to be a bit more angry and bloodthirsty than Robin.

I certainly wouldn't have a problem with that so long as it was handled well.

My immediate thoughts (Literally top of the head ideas):

Noxian from the slums who deliberately targets the rich and powerful who have done nothing to deserve their wealth, coasting off the labours of their ancestors and suffering of others. Is tolerated to an extent by the powers that be because anyone of means who can't stop a lone thief from humiliating them clearly got what was coming to them.
Zaunite who poaches tech from both the local megacorporations and Piltover's outskirts to try and improve the lives of those around them, maybe working with sympathetic groups to try and reverse engineer harmful designs into something better. Perhaps even make them more of a revolutionary figure who wants to break the hold of the corporations on Zaunite politics, clean up the city and rebuild things from the ground up.

There are already a lot of thieves in LoL.

You got plunderers like Gangplank and MissFortune .

You got swindlers like TwistedFate and Graves .

You have champions who have roguish tendencies that could also lead to a fair bit of stealing: Ekko , Twitch , Evelynn , MonkeyKing and Fizz .

You have artifact hunters like Cassiopeia .

I mean, if you're gonna try for a Robin-hood archetype, you're going to have to make it a Robin-hood archetype because all of the other branches are already occupied. But unfortunately I don't think that a Robin hood is really feasible in the Runeterran universe.
