Will there be any new nations that you introduce in the future?

Demacia, Noxus, Shadow Isles, Ionia, Shurima, Bilgewater, Piltover, Zaun, Bandle City, Targon, etc. All these are to be established locations and such, but will there be any more major factions and/or introduced in the future?

For instance, I'd really like to see a nation that is built around sorcery and magic, something like Bracada from Heroes of Might and Magic, Dalaran from Warcraft, Caldeum from Diablo (in a sense), and so forth. I know mages are supposed to be rare in Riot's new continuity, but that doesn't mean there can't be a nation built by mages that serves as a major player in modern Runeterra.

Highly likely, though unlikely any time soon. Valoran, Ionia, the Serpent Isles, Shurima, and the other areas we've already seen are but a portion of Runeterra as a whole. We've still got lots to explore within the current 'known world,' but it's not unreasonable to think we'll expand beyond the horizon at some point in the future.

I think they will probably just expand on already existing small regions, such as the Voodoo lands, Icathia and the Kumungu jungle, like what they did with Targon, assigning isolated champions to a new region. They wont do that until they finish revamping the existing nations first, which will still take a couple years.

Maybe they could explore the nation where Morgana and Kayle originate. In the original lore and JoJ, they came from a different dimension. Since the retconned of the old lore, maybe the their nation now resides somewhere above Runeterra as a floating continent/island.

I hope that they end up releasing more cultures. Lately they've been trying to diversify cultures rather than just carbon copying real world ones like they used to.

But I think we are sorely missing nations/regions based around Native American cultures (Plains Indians, Aztec, Inca, Inuit, Pacific Northwest) and African nations. There's a ton of potential for new champions in cultures like these.

We have Shurima which fills more of an Egypt/Middle Eastern vibe, though they've expanded on that with tribes like Taliyah's.

Introducing new nations could also be a good way to group champions unaffiliated with the current regions however this will likely be nations mentioned before For instance kumungu jungle , which is still canon, can group together a bunch of the jungle champions such as Zyra Nidalee Gnar Khazix Rengar
And I think an arcane based nation would be difficult to just pop up in the lore unless it was hidden, from world causes nation of that importance can't just come out of nowhere

What I want to see is a dragon nation https://avatar.leagueoflegends.com/OCE/BattleLance.png A nation completely composed of dragons of all different the kinds, It could either be on a different continent or within another nation like demacia. It could fill in the gaps in Shyvana s story. Considering her abilities speaks of a highly magical yet brutal nation and if they have even an speck of AurelionSol s personality then they would make noxians look humble welcoming

I'd like to know who the Magelords and the Protectorate were, but they're not new nations in any sense.

Still, the Magelords sound like they may have been a nation or coalition of nations built around sorcery and magic.

A mage nation would be so significant to not represent in lore until now. So, It cannot be a ''secret nation''. It does not make sense. And even If they do, they should avoid making it kinda similar to Shurima, which is an empire risen from the ashes.
