About that Piltovan Robot Butler

I actually like that Riot considered to add a butler to the game, since this is close to a champion archetype I want to see in this game: a maid.

Would add a personality that is not present in the champion pool yet, in my opinion. We don't have a truly submissive champion, someone who lives to serve another person in the lore. Completely dedicated to the success of that other person, even if this means sacrificing themselves. Would prefer such a champion to be a human instead of a robot, tho, since a submissive robot wouldn't have the same feeling, since robots are already constructed to serve.

But as so many Piltovan designs they have pitched in the past, the butler didn't make it.... I don't know why Riot hates Piltover this much that they just toss aside every Piltovan design they come up with, tbh.

Xin Zhao fits that description pretty well in my opinion. Especially in "Aftermath" he shows many of the character traits you're looking for. But his personality is otherwise pretty assertive, so perhaps he's not quite what you're after.

Tbh that particular robot looks like Debonair Galio and Hextech Galio combined, and I wouldn't really say he's a "butler" like they described. He's pretty big and burly, more like a bouncer or a guard. He's also just kind of... Boring? Not really an interesting robot design. Just a metal dude in a suit. Surely I we can come up with something better than that.

That being said, though, I can see why they scrapped him. He doesn't have the same flare that the Aspect of Might, Sett, or the chonky dino Darkin Behemoth do. Husk was a tragedy to lose, but I'm not too heartbroken about the unnamed, well-dressed robot.

You're a little biased, but lemme tell as someone who tries to value all the regions of Runeterra as equal that the robo-butler concept was probably way better than what we got with the Vastaya crime boss

Note. Would like to add that since Hextech crystals contain Brackern Souls rito can easily create an in-universe reason for robots not being subserviant and having their own free will. Like in Star Wars droids who don't get routine memory dumps like R2 and the female droid in Rogue One become extremely individualistic as a result. The Brackern Soul could influence the programming of the Robo-Butler making him his own dapper individual self.

Plus we have Blitzcrank already and he's pretty autonomous.
