Is it just me, or is the Chem-Baron Takeda appearing in the background a lot?
There are other Chem-Barons right? Or are you all going to be making Takeda into a champion?

I think they more so wanted to actually have Chem-Barons as part of the narrative instead of kind of there, y'know? Warwick talks about killing them, Zac has ties to one, and that same one met Evelynn one time. This grounds them and makes them more real instead of "Yeah they're a thing". To draw from an example, Demacia has a king, but that's far more grounded by Garen saying "In the King's name" and there being a Prince. It shows that the king actually matters as an element of the narrative.
I hope he stays just as he is - an imposing character in the lore. Not every moving force in the world has to be a champion, because their presence gives the other champions motivations and tension and story presence. I feel the same way about the Ruined King - he should remain in the lore as a character of power and myth that motivates and drives the champions we know.
He's the new Stanwick or something
I think this is interesting, but I also agree with Sharjo on this. :P Hoping to actually see some Takeda concept art in the future, anyways; I'm really interested in how Chem-Barons look like and if at least some of them are even augmented by Chem-tech at all.
Why on eath he has a Japanese name on him lolz. Must be Ionian Yakuza.
