The animators set a new standard with Akali’s VGU

She has animations for transitioning from attacks to running.

So if you do an auto-attack or an ability, and click right after (this is the running I mentioned) she will have an animation of her transitioning into the run. It could be a little spin or a roll. No more clipping into running animation.

It is the coolest thing. Something so small but makes such a difference. I love that Riot keeps pushing the bar and I really hope this is a new standard in upcoming VGUs.

EDIT: I know Irelia and maybe Aatrox May have similar animations but I feel (and I could be wrong) that Akali has more of it and does it more consistently than them.
