Do you know who really needs a VGU?
Just take a look at his model ( http://www.lolking.net/models?champion=36&skin=0 ) and then compare him to one of the most recently released champions.
It's embarassing, I honestly feel bad for him.

His visuals are not his main problem. If you look at his kit you can easily just break it down to gold value. Free regeneration, free attack damage, free grievous wounds... you get what i'm saying. His W is his most interactive ability because it is a risk using at early levels. There's so much that riot could do to deliver this "crazy mutant doctor" theme a lot better with a full VGU or maybe even relaunch. But yet again there's much bigger offenders right now, mundo is at least somewhat okay and a good option for beginners to learn how to play tanks. We know that Warwick and Galio are in production right now, a rioter said that he would be surprised if Evelynn didn't get a VGU next year and if they found a fitting direction they probably will work on Urgot too. And then there's even more for the years after that: Nunu, Akali, Mordekaiser, Zilean, Cho'Gath, Pantheon, Swain... it is just hard to fit Mundo completely in there. Though still possible if a rioter in the one of the champup teams found a good direction and the team wants to work on Mundo aswell.

But anyway,Mundo is on the list for VGUs,so he is on their radar.
Also, his E feels useless, his ult is a little strong, passive is not good, his W is overloaded, and is Q is strong too
