VO Updates

I read several times here in the boards that Varus is going to get a new VO matching for his new lore, same for Miss Fortune.

My question: Does anyone know about other champions receiving that treatment?

Blitzcrank Orianna Singed These champions are in my opinion the absolute worst offenders when it comes to voice over and lore disconnect. How they are talking in game is basically the complete opposite of how they are pictured in their lore.

Can anyone give some insight? Are there more champions getting new voice overs? Or do I have to accept that these champions absolutely not like their lore for some more years....

Uh those 3 have solid lore.

Morgana Kayle Need lore updates soonest as they aren't even from rune terra.

I haven't seen anything confirmed about Varus yet, but he needs the changes you've seen since they basically made him a new champion.

Did you read Orianna's and Blitzcrank's lore, then listen to their quotes?

Both are heroes, they save the lives of people. Yet both are talking like the terminator in the game, that they are going to end humanity, killing people for fun and stuff like that.

Their quotes absolutely don't fit their lore. They need new voice lines just as much as Varus, if not even more.

You mean their Taunt emotes? They are suppose to be comical and hostile.

Not just their taunts, everything about them.

Example Blitzcrank:

  • exterminate! Exterminate
  • quake in fear, fleshling
  • bone is a poor alternative

Example Orianna:

  • yes, I am a weapon
  • so strange, they scream
  • why are they running?
  • we will kill your enemies, that will be fun

These quotes are relics from the time when their lore was both of them being simple robots constructed to kill in the league of legends. This is no longer canon, the personalities in their current lore want to protect life, not end it.

True, you do have a point.
