For gods sakes, Shen uses both swords
The big sword is for empowered Q attacks, while normal autos use the smaller.

Sharjo2 votesWait seriously? People haven't noticed this? That's key to how his kit functions; the small sword is for normal autos and the big one is the one he makes a spirit blade from, which he then uses for Twilight Assault and Spirit's Refuge.

Sharjo1 votesI was actually weirded out when I found out he wasn't a tank, but then I realised that Mundo actually lacks any real defensive abilities; he can't reduce the damage he takes for himself or his allies, which is the cornerstone of being a tank.

Sharjo1 votesYeah but the regeneration only replenishes what he loses; he doesn't flat out reduce or stop the damage itself. Mechanically he lacks the shielding, innate resistances and damage reduction that a traditional tank would have, at least as far as I can see.
Catastrop2 votesPeople just like to dump champions into categories. If you can take a truck load of damage, you're a tank and that's it. I have the same feeling when people call Gragas a tank. Seriously, Fighter/Mage is a thing people.

Wolfess1 votesthis wasn't shown on the riot site though, the news about shen update only showed him using his bigger sword because the only attack animation they showed of him was of his Q skill, which is indeed his bigger sword.

yeah but this is something that has to do with the rework of a champion's appearance and kit, which had previously established things.
