what was the line not ruined by Shyv and Fizz enough? we had to throw in Annie and Nidalee to kill it?

I'm sorry, but these 2 skins were THE WORST of the four Imo

No, this batch is on par with Super Galaxy Rumble for fitting the Gurren Lagann theme. Ironically you picked the two that best reflect that theme to complain about.

For Fizz, it'd be the fact it looks like the love child of Zoids and Gundam, two things that should NEVER mix but are great on their own, while Shyv reminds me too much of a reject Digimon spin-off.

In that series, to avoid spoilers let's just say there are humans and beastmen, which the latter is oppressing and at war with the former. Let's just keep thing simple and spoiler-free.

The beastmen pilots mechs, which are made and/or modified to their appearance, being typically animal-themed robots.

Humans eventually fights back by stealing mechs from the beastmen, with some characters proceed to modify those captured mechs' appearance to be more human-like or at least less animal-like for their preference.

Hence why Super Galaxy skin selected so many "beastmen" champs into the line-up, and then human champs.

Meh, sounds a bit like Zoids or Code Geass, anywho, at this point it may be personal bias towards Annie and Nidalee, tho Fizz, I just flat out hate him, Shyv's just looks a tad rushed.

Getter robo owns Gurren lagan in terms of scale. And the series is so frigging huge it collapsed more than three occasions, and STILL lives. There is even a meme about the series going to oblivion and coming back from the ashes due to its ludicrous scale of plots,

There is no anime OVA that I know which is batshit insane enough to use 90% of the budget in ONE transformation scene for the lulz, then get the director fired, and still go on as if nothing happened.

the two make 0 sense, Annie really just looks like Sweetheart Annie gone megaman, and Nidalee's.... it looks lazily done, they just gave her fancy armor and called it a skin, seriously, no effort whatsoever.

Annie is clearly a reference to Simon from Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann has the goggles and Tibbers even turns into a small Lagann in her recall animation. That alone makes me really like the skin, and consider buying it. As for Nidalee, it fits the theme akin to Shyvana and Elise they form-change into their "mechs". Super cool in my opinion but I might be biased. Definitely buying Nid and Elise probably not Annie. In my opinion, the first batch didn't quite hit the mark this batch though 10/10.
