Annie the " white, upper-middle class, has no problems in life" child.

on the plus side.. her rework looks pretty nice.

Honestly, I kind of agree. All of these new splash arts aren't bad per se, just way too damn cute. The new Frostfire one doesn't make me go, "Oh man, if I saw her in a blizzard, I'd go in a different direction." No, now I see this adorable (and far too anime) splash art and the only thing going through my mind is, "Oh my goodness, she is adorable; I want to take her and Tibbers home and feed them both cookies. :o"

It's like finding the most adorable, cute, precious bunny rabbit in the world, and you take him home and love him and give him carrots and he's just the fluffiest little thing then you come home one day and find he's slaughtered everyone you care about and built a shrine to the bunny Elder God out of their bones.

What I find weird about this is that there is no explanation for this change. I mean the others got the chinese splash arts because the previous ones were outdated,but the goth annie splash wasn't outdated and wasn't even replaced by the chinese one,it was merely changed.

because taboo restrictions, most likely in Turkey or Russia (Korea has blood restrictions)

Yeah,but is there a taboo against heavy makeup in any of these countries? I mean I know that blood,tobacco and skulls are problematic,but makeup?

Those are not permanent. They are placeholders. Seriously, read up on things. They've stated when they started rolling out these splashes that they were just unifying the splashes globally until they could do a sweeping splash rework of the champs.
