Anyone else think the Mecha Kingdoms skins are horrendously ugly?

I was honestly super hyped when we got that first teaser for them because while I hate all the robot/cyborg/mech skins, I thought this idea was gonna be more of an ancient civilization sort of take on it. Like if the Aztecs had made mechas. But honestly, that was wishful thinking and I'm gonna try not to use my initial hope as criticism for why I hate this skin line.

Honestly, I think they're just ugly and boring. I don't really see anything to me that separates them from any other technological skin line. I don't see what makes them "Mecha Kingdoms" vs just "Mecha." Not to mention I think the color choices are just god awful. Not a single skin has a color pallet that I think looks good. Garen is only barely acceptable. I also can barely tell what champions they are too. Like Sett especially looks NOTHING like Sett to me. Again, I only slightly recognize Garen.

What do you guys think? I hope I'm not alone in this.

I think the idea is great (I like futuristic skins) but the final result looks a bit lazy to me, i like the skins but them dont seem to respect the same concepts, i mean if you compare jax and leona, them look very different.

About the pallet, Riot does that to sell more chromas, just look at Mecha Rengar, its REALLY awful without chromas. And about Sett I agree, i thought it was zed the first time i seen it.

Personally, I'm burnt out on futuristic skins. There's too many of them and they're starting to blend together, but they do sell well.

If these came out in 2016, I'd probably feel differently about them. Objectively speaking, I think Draven and Leona's skins look cool, but I'm sad that they didn't go in a different direction for Leona since she already had a Project skin.

idk I feel like there are too many tech/futuristic skin lines in the game, like its getting boring...
