Dear Riot, can we discuss the future of Karma's skins and her dress?

Let me just say.... I love, love, LOVE the new Conqueror skin. As my number one favorite champion of all time, it's absolutely gorgeous and super happy she got another skin so soon (sorry Yorick). Plus, for a 975 skin, her particles looks great too! I do wish you could do more with her tether/W though as it's just another recoloring but for that price, I don't mind.

That said, while watching the skin spotlight over and over, I do hope the skin team could explore more clothing options and style for her in the future. The majority of her skins, at least the concept behind them anyway, are more or less the same, with a piece of clothing drape behind her (like a tail coat) and a linear piece of clothing in front of her legs.

Only two skins so far went in a different direction: Sakura and Traditional. Both of which are... average at best due to her rework back in 2013. I do understand the hesitation as both of these were changed rather quickly to make old Karma mains happy but at a price of her animation/movement being awkward, aka, her walking animation is simply tiny hopping rather than running naturally.

But then I look at Soraka who have been getting skins in a dress like Divine, Reaper and Banana and felt a bit jealous that her library of skins have such great variety.

We probably won't be getting another Karma skin for a long time, given she just got two nearly back-to-back (despite Conqueror being an esports skin). I do hope Riot could explore the idea of giving her a dress again but elevate it. I feel the team could do it more justice now since they have grown and the quality of skins has been top notch lately.

Tbh I REALLY wanted her to get Star Guardian. Katey even said she was pretty much Runner-up in the line if Poppy didn't make it in. It would have been something WILDLY different from all the other skins we've seen.

I'm pretty disappointed with this skin, especially considering it's just another lazy recolour in regards to her abilities (Her passive is still green as well) without new SFX or even symbols for her Mantra Q. And a lot of her outfit and model just look like balant recolours. It's a nice aesthetic, but super lazy execution.

I totally agree with you that she needs some new variety in her outfits. I don't get why the skins team is so insistent on the same designs. They cling to classic asets way too much.

Yes, I agree with most of this. I would really like some extreme deviation from how her current skins look when she gets a new skin that is not related to e-sports. I like Warden Karma the most as the total look is quite different, but only Order of the Lotus has very different floating objects. The dresses are in general a bit too bland and have too much in common. There are plenty of champions with cool variety in their different skins, and I think there is a lot of potential for a cool Karma skin.

I wish they would go back and fix Sakura Karma at least . . . . . the splashart is amazing but the skin itself is the worst one of the bunch. Even Sun Goddess is questionable.

Riot really needs to change her walking animation before they do any dress skins for her imo.

Her walking animation is just so... stiff.
