Necrit Darkin theory video

Not a theory I really agree with for a few reasons.

• What pool exists in Noxus? The Immortal Bastion? We've never heard of such a thing.
• There's no indication that there's a conection between the Pit of Pallas and the two fonts of life giving waters we've seen thus far. There's been no information given that the waters in the pit are of a similar kind to those of the Oasis or Blessed Isles pools.
• Necrit assumes that Varus's comment about blood magic implies an allegience between humans and darkin, when blood magic might've been learned via observation or study just as, if not more logically.
• Necrit assumes a lot about Aatrox's motivations when his intro paragraph clearly states he's out for revenge. He lacks any noble goal concerning humanity as far as any direct information we have says.
• The whole theory is built on the idea that the darkin world was dying because of the Void. These aren't mutually exclusive ideas; the darkin world might've been dying for other reasons, and as of yet we have no reason to suspect that anything bad is happening on the darkin's homeworld. Varus's comment about being "all but extinct" could be reffering to casualties from the war. He hasn't seen his kind in a long, long time, so what does he kow about the state of his home world? The dying world thing I can understad, but linking the Void in to it as well is a stretch since there are other explanations, like the darkin themselves or even the wild use of magic by humans. Hell, maybe Targon even had a part to play. Many more explanations available than pinnig it to the Void.
• A BIG one for me; it's SUPER unlikely that the sister was in the Tomb of the Emperors. For one, considering the timeline Necrit himself shows, the tomb would've been sealed with Xerath and Renekton in it at the time, and the Chalicar would've been sealed away too, making it just about impossible to open. Then there's also the simple fact of the newly flowing rivers potentially having opened this particular tomb up. I find it super unlikely this tomb was anywhere near the City of Shurima.
• Necrit's doesn't think the Chalicar is a darkin, but at the same time that's obvious since the Chalicar predates the darkin war by way of the above timeline, and Necrit should know this. The darkin are imprisoned in their own weapons.

I might have more thoughts later but for now that's what I've got.

I find it funny that, even though Necrit has an entire Discord of lore theorists/ enthusiasts, yet he still somehow misinterpreted the prison Varus visited as the Tomb of the Emperors and no one corrected him on it.

Also, how on earth did Necrit and his lackeys conclude that the Darkin's point of origin was consumed by the Void? He just talks it up as if it's explicitly mentioned in lore, to my memory it is not. Or he's just pushing a theory for legitimacy with no evidence to back it up.

Yeah I have to say, I would only ever watch Necrit for his wild assumptions and how much obvious shit him and his group misinterpret.

This video proves how unreliable and uncredible this person is. 10/10 would never recommend him

2. The whole thing about Aurelion does only slightly weaken the fact that they were around the universe before attacking runeterra AND it could have happened millenia before Aurelion's visit to runeterra as far as I know.
3. All the points that say "it is just a theory" don't tell anything because it is in fact just a theory. Nobody ever said something else. This includes the "the darkin planet was being consumed by the void".
4. About the buried Rhaast thing: It was not clearly stated that Rhaast was found, just that he was brought to the capital. He could have been buried for some time because someone thought it would be safer than in the immortal bastion.
5. The tomb Varus visited clearly was the tomb of the emperors since it mentions snake carvings (like in Sivir's/Cassiopeia's lore) and it makes sense because it obviously contained healing waters.
6. The tomb of the emperors could have been re-opened to put the darkin into it, considering that maybe Renekton and Xerath were in a seperate chamber, which would make sense in my opinion because you would not want the corpse of the emperor in the same chamber as the most powerful destructive being you know about.

Don't watch theory videos if you only want confirmed information. Even after reading the comments here I see nothing in Necrit's video that is wrong lore wise. The theory fits well into the universe.

Aside from all the holes that were already pointed out by Sharjo and Whyte Lyon... There is one tiny detail about Rhaast that Necrit forgot: Rhaast was found burried in Noxus, not inside of a well with water and blood was never mentioned in his awakening as far as i know.

Also, about the Void:

I think that Runeterra is the first planet of their universe that makes contact with the Void... Why do you ask? Because Aurelion Sol. In his lore, he finds a portal towards the Void or something like that... and he hears a laugh comming from there. What about it? Well... When he hears the laugh, looks at the void beast and the portals, he does not say "Oh man, that is the Void, the thing that has destroyed other planets before"... no, what he says is "... the Voidborn don't know how things work in this universe" that means that they are new in that universe and after that he says "... whatever intelligence that controls this Void incursion" wich means, again, that the void is just entering to their dimenssion.

Honestly, I'm sick and tired of everything having to be explained with the Void, it devalues actual threats and just makes the lore seem bland if everything links back to 'em voidborn.

It's a pretty nice theory done from a scrap. But yet, still a theory. Not sure why you get so A N G E R Y over it.
