Why wasn't Leona in the Project animation?
I was looking forward to seeing her in all her glory but she ended up not even being in the video. I'm kinda dissapointed. (Partly because she's the only one of the project team that I even care about.)

. As a Leona player and an utterly incompetent Yasuo (AKA the one on your team), the conspicuousness of their absence was not lost on me nor on the rest of the team when the final cast was locked in.
Basically, they didn't have the time to put all of them in and cuts had to be made.
Probably because she literally makes no sense in the Project theme. One of these things is not like the others....
Poor Leona,she was also left out on the combined project picture(you can line up yi,zed,fiora&lucian for one big picture,but leone doesn't seem to fit in there)
I guess Project Leona might have been the last project skin to get finished,so she wasn't done when the cinematic was made(either the scene with her shield was added later on,or only leonas shield was fully designed at that point).
If you look in the vid when yo is in the lab chair for a moment you see just Leo's shield in the back
Maybe there will be a second animation? I know it's highly unlikely, but she and Project Yasuo really should appear in a cinematic.
