On the topic of Ionia.

Can we please not go back there for a grand event for a while? I get that people like Ionia a lot, just look at all the champs that are in Ionia. (cause Kinkou order) . That's 13. 12 if you remove Kennan, 13-14 if you put in . Then we have who is from Ionia but is loyal to Demacia. What about the other factions in comparison? If I miss any or misplace any please let me know for better comparison.

Noxus: (Allied with it so might as well be Noxian) (CAW CAW CAW) (Cause she's still with the spirit of Noxus, not what it's become) . So that's about 12, 11 if you disagree with Riven.

DEMACIA: (LASERS EVERYWHERE!) (the champ page says Demacia, but her lore needs rewriting because it ties her as directly under the league. Though a LOT of champ lore needs rewriting, so that complaint isn't strong). So that's about 11. 12 with

Bandle City: . About 7. Yes I know we have more Yordles, I'll explain below. If counts for Bandle City then it's 8. I don't like counting her as an X champ for two factions though since it kinda sets numbers out of wack.

Freljord: . 12.

Piltover: . 5

Zuan: (MUNDO!) . 9.

Bilgewater: . 7.

Shurima: (Though his new lore still needs to come out) . 8.

Shadow Isles: (apparently he's Demacian though. So I don't know) (Alas poor Yorick) . 10.

Void: . 7, though I feel like I'm missing someone.

Mt. Targon: . 3.

Kumungu jungle: . 3.

Independent/single representative: (honestly thought he was Ionian)

Champs where I'm not sure: (I know her parents are from Noxus, but I'm not sure that makes her Noxian) (Cause Institute of War is gone) (I'm not sure he's affiliate with the other Yordles of Bandle City) (Zuan?) (Same as Fiddlesticks) (not sure) (Fiddlesticks problem)

If I've missed any please tell me.

So it looks like out of all the factions, Kumungu Jungle and Mt.Targon have the fewest champions. Can we go to one of those places next for a lore expansion? Personally I'd prefer Mt.Targon.

I get that a lot of people love Ionia. But there's more to Valoran than Ionia and its conflict with Noxus. Can we please explore Valoran?

Rammus is Shurimian, Nidalee, Zyra and Rengar are from Kumungu Jungles, Alistar is from Great Barier probably near Mt. Targon, Zilean is from Urtistan ( i am not sure how to write it), Nocture, Shaco, Fiddlestick peerhaps are Demons the same as Tahm Kench but its not confirmed, Sona is Demacian, i personally think that Soraka is from Spirit Realm just like Bard, Ezreal is from Piltover, Evelynn is from Shadow Isles i think. You missed Wukong who is from Plague Jungles, about rest i dont know, becasue of retcon.

Eve is from Shadow Isles. Kayle is associated with Demacia. Brand and Aatrox are independent.

Put Poppy under Demacia mostly because she's the embassador there and thus stays there most of the time. Although, I do think she fights her loyalties for Bandle City if they ever had a complaint.

An ionia event doesn't necessarily need a new champion. The bilgewater event didn't come with a new champ(tahm is associated with that place,but is technically independent).

Anyway the idea of an ionia event isn't about wanting a new champ,but getting the retcon about the noxus-vs-ionia-thing done.

Ionia is different from most of the other regions in that it has significantly more factions than others do. Demacia- One faction Noxus - Two factions: Du Couteau royalty and Swain's loyalists Piltover - Two-ish factions: Law abiding citizens and Jinx Zaun - 0. Zaun's champions don't really ally or fight. The closest you can get is Viktor and Blitz's creator, but Piddilly isn't a champion. Shadow Isles - 2-3: Lucian and the undead. There is some degree of deception between the undead, but overall, they seem to be pretty unified. Bilgewater - 3 - MF, GP, and everyone else. No one else really feels hell bent on killing each other in this region. Most of them are fish though. Void -3 -Kassadin, intelligent voidlings, Rek'Sai Shurima - 2 - Azir supporters vs. Xerath supporters Freljord - 3 - the tribes Mt. Targon - 2 factions - sun and moon Jungle - 0 - three independent agents Ionia - 4 plus a bunch of independents - Ionian government, the Kinkou, the Order of the Shadows + Syndra, and the school of Wuju. On top of that, you have Yasuo, Lee Sin, Varus, Soraka, and Ahri. You also have the Noxus-Ionia war refugees which left Riven and Warwick in Ionia.

There's a lot more potential for story telling in Ionia because of all these different agendas. Even if Ionia doesn't receive a new champion or map, it still has the most potential for lore. We thought that the development of the four interesting characters in Bilgewater was cool? Imagine all the ways you could take the story when you have more than four actors.
