What kind of religion is there in Demacia?

EDIT: Asking questions gets pitchforks and torches. Okay...

You can't expect to have a draconian society like Demacia without some sort of religious faith being predominant in it. If Elder Scrolls and Warcraft have religions (or the like) that enable holy/magic powers, Demacia should have something similar.

After all, I'm guessing Riot plans to retcon Lux a bit to have her magic be something holy-based, rather than just magical brilliance alone.

The character lux is based on (yes the creator of lux took inspiration from another game) just uses magic brilliance so if riot wants to keep in touch with that then I don't think they need to change anything.

As for religion I have a hard time seeing demacia having a bottum up religion like budhism. More than likely they have something like a papal primacy like christianity had in the middle ages or a government inforcing one like taoism.

Also a requirement of the religion would be prayng to the god several times a day by screaming DEMACIA as loud as you can.

Why are people down voting this? It's a legit question you two bit morons

Anyways to answer your questions is that Demacia does have a religion but it has not yet been explained. Demacia worship a diety known as the veiled lady(mention by lucian in Shadow and Fortune) and they have a love for glass stained windows.

From what we have seen until now (thought it's true, the retcon might change this) Demacia doesn't seem to have any kind of pantheon or gods in their ""religion"" if we can use the term. It seems that they worship the impersonalised idea of Justice as an absolute in the daily life of Demacian society and mostly in their war doctrine.

Out of all these posts not a single person remembered that there are Tallymen of Kindred(seeing as they are known as Kindred everywhere, I'm sure that it isn't just in Noxus) and then there is Elise's cult, which has followers both in Damacia and Noxus. Probably not the mainstream religions, but they exist.

i want to say DEMACIA's religion would be state based revolving around the king but idk riots stance.

Not necessarily true, but I too would like to know if there are any faiths practiced in Demacia.

Thus far I haven't gotten the impression that 'holy magic' is a thing separate from any other type of magic in Runeterra.

That doesn't preclude Demacia from having a religion to provide social cohesion, though.

I think demacians worship personifications of virtues like justice, duty , honor maybe even Demacia itself is personified and worshiped. But i don't think they have an actual structured religion, is more probably that demacians don't have any gods or priests and they blindly follow Demacia values. Demacia probably use a system of knights and scholars, both for military and civil purpose and Lux is a mage that work for the army (like a weapons , artillery) but she seems to also have done some infiltration missions.
