What is Valoran's view on interspecies marriage, or love on the matter?

This is just to get my curiosity settled, cause lets say a human could they have a relationship with one of people or lets say a Yordle could they marry a angel or human? Now I would like to imagine they are able to do so, with it being a fantasy setting and with human nature being kinky as it is, I would find it hard to believe otherwise especially taking into account the great vary of races and species that all live together, but I would like confirmation.

This is not for any fanfiction it's just curiosity of mine and would really like to see how relation ships work in Runeterra and I will respect whatever Riot tell's me.

I'd say depend of the state/country. I don't really see Demacia promote it while they might tolerate it since you know shyvana was still recruted and she's an half. But yeah Zaun? yeah totally. Noxus? Are the child strong? Yes, then go ahead. As for shurima/fredjlord (or however it is spelled) I don't really know. Bilgewater is a city of chaos so of course and piltover I'd say it's K. Last we got Bangle city and the yordles and well, no, I don't think yordle would have a tendency to fall for other race, I don't see it as very practical.

Well there is Shyvana whose dad was a dragon and whose mom was a human.

But this kind of relationship was seen as abnorm by pretty much everyone and they were hunted down by humans and dragons.

And this was despite the fact that her draconic father was able to transform into a human.

So i doubt that it would go any different with other interspecies romances(though I think species who are more accepted among humans or humanlike in general could be an exception)

I don't think there's enough colonisation or Valoran by other races for interspecies marriage to have come up. I mean if we look at it:

Ascendants: Limited number and originally humans
Brackern: Close to extinction; only one member on the surface
Darkin: Limited number and almost impossible to find seemingly
Iceborn: Effectively extinct and were originally humans
Marai: Near mythical species; only one member on the surface
Minotaurs: Not a large population; on bad terms with humans (generally Noxus)
Trolls: Limited to the Freljord
Ursine: Limited to the Freljord

The only other sentient people to even compare to population and influence of humans are the yordles, and even then you have to consider they're limited in locations too; very few Yordles live outside of Bandle City and its surrounding territories. So I don't think the society of another species has progressed for enough for this to actually be a topic anyone in Runeterra's discussed recently.

The only interspecies marriage I can think of is between human and iceborn, which is (afaik) the reason why the latter is effectively extinct. Iceborn were once humans and so they could cross breed, but due to the fact their transformation was magical their children weren't iceborn, but instead humans with some of that magic in their veins. This led to the iceborn's extinction as there was no way for new iceborn to be created following the Frozen Watchers being overthrown.

So to kinda put a cap on this; I'd suspect that due to the limited influence and population of most of Runeterra's native races excluding humans, interspecies marriage isn't actually a thing beyond a few isolated cases. This isn't to say it's not in the cards in the future, especially if yordle society expands in to other parts of the world aside from Piltover and a sole ambassador in Demacia, but right now it's probably something people don't even think about.

Well, when champions like Ahri Elise Cassiopeia exist, I have to think it's at least an option. All have been noted as temptresses at one point or another, and all are part animal.

naw man i think you got a valid question while i do think many champs wouldn't have time or interest in romance im sure interspecies maybe uncommon granted would still be atleast tolerated kinda in the same way gay relationships are now (i endorse #lovewins but lets face it people will always be assholes even if it is legal now) im sure a yordel could love a human and a mermaid could love a troll even in more civilized places like demacia or ionia tho i'm sure mt targon wouldn't be so into it (they tried killing leona cuz she didn't wanna become a warrior ffs) but enough rambling, i think mixed species is cool and i don't think a rioter would come in and be like NOPE HUMANS WITH HUMANS YORDLES WITH YORDLES #LOVEDOESNOTWIN

Noxians are racist in general (according to the lore) and they wouldn't accept a marriage interspecies... i mean, they dont even see with good eyes the nonhumans ( Sion Undead Human and Cassiopeia Cursed Human are still humans) in their City State.

People mentions Shyvana but they dont remember that his Father, the Dragon, was an outcast of his race and even Humans fear the half dragons... According to the Lore, the Dragons see humans as lesser creatures, and a relationship between Dragons and other species is an abomination.

Maybe Yordles do not have problems with a Human x Yordle Relationship.... or a <put the name of the Rengar Species here> X Yordle

Or people in the Freljord/Shurima wouldn't care about the species... i mean, i guess that Shurima would even promote those things... after all the acendeds are humans that became "animals".
