Irelia's sassy quotes for Karma

Finally we have a champion who interacts with Karma directly (aside from Illaoi's vague unexplained interaction).

Irelia: "You claim to speak for the spirit as if it doesn't move my blades." ... 👀

Irelia: "Your peace leads to nothing but extermination."

This quote I find interesting, I thought that her and Karma would have been on the same page. Considering Karma has a quote saying: "If you desire peace you must prepare for war."

I hope there's lore coming that will shed light on all of this.

It's hard to say if the ingame quotes represent actual canon lore though. This is a taunt to an enemy team Karma so it might just be a bit of a jab. I do hope for some new Karma lore though.

In another post someone told me they recently changed the short bios.

"No champion exemplifies the spiritual traditions of Ionia more than Karma. She is the living embodiment of an ancient soul reincarnated countless times, carrying all her accumulated memories into each new life. With this insight, she serves as a spiritual beacon to her people, bestowing boundless wisdom and healing in times of crisis. Despite being blessed with power that few could comprehend, she rarely uses her magic for destruction, as it always comes at a considerable cost—both to her, and to the land she holds most dear."

So cosidering this lore, Irelias taunts actually make sense.

Every new Karma interaction destroys her lore. She used to be about balance between Peace and War but every new lore point makes her just pure pacifist.
