I don't like Zoe

I love Ivern's playstyle but hate his personality and everything else.

Zoe seems like a young Ivern that just is fun-loving but where is the character in that? I guess she is going to be another Lux or something.

Play style seems really weird as well because they said she was gonna be a burst mage but she is high mobility kiting?

She looks complex at first but also looks pretty dull once you learn it like every new champion Rito has released.

One thing that is off-putting is how happy she is although she is killing people. Annie, Ivern, Lulu, Lux, and Taliyah differ cause. Annie is actually violent and dark lol, Ivern isn't even that aggressive but understands life and death is natural, Lulu was Fae so everything is different for her, Lux is super happy bubbly but voices her very present discomfort of having to fight, Taliyah is kinda like Lux but has less problems with being violent I think from her voice lines and her confidence in fighting people.

Zoe is lame at first glance but maybe her story legitimizes her actions.

You compared her character depth to Lux; a suicidal stepford smiler who has an extremely tragic and deep storyline. Lux has more layers than an onion. Failed analogy. Also, they said control mage i thought? Also Annie isnt violent, shes pyromaniacal but shes a kid, shes like six.

Well she doesn't look very appealing to me either,but that has more to do with the fact that I just don't like her design(though I love that running animation xD)

However it is far too early to really judge her character. We don't know if she is a nutjob like Lulu or if she hides a lot of depression under that smile like Lux. Maybe she even is just like this(and I wouldn't count the game as canon anyway,just because she kills people in the game without remorse,doesn't mean she'd do it in the lore as well).

K, you can't love every new champion release.

I don't care for a lot of the new champions but I'm sure someone else is loving them.

I mean Zoe is a cosmic entity so her version of playing just happens to kill people, nor does she really care about people, and death has no impact on her since in the grand scheme of things she can't really die, I mean her physical form can be damaged but she will always come back, like how pantheon has had a whole bunch of bodies, Leona takes better care of her mortal body, Diana and Taric are relatively new in the scope of aspects. Zoe hasn't spent much time on runeterra in her millennia long life so far so yea. I still find her design a bit off putting because it seems way to one dimensional and lacks a real purpose, like Tali is a teenage girl just like Zoe, Tali is incredibly powerful but is still learning how to control her power, Tali has ambitions and is interested in the world around her, Tali cares, Tali has a back story that explains her motivations (Being used as a child weapon by noxians to invade ionia is pretty twisted, then escaping and heading home only to find a demigod has ascended raising an entire ancient empire across your homeland) Also can we mention the subtlety they put into Taliyahs crush on Ekko, its great and I can actually appreciate it, unlike the Ezreal thing. I wish there was more to Annie's lore but what she has now is fitting, also used by noxus as a weapon, losing your parents yada yada.

Zoe does have some more serious voice lines but they still present this concept of not caring. Like you can make a youthful character without them being a cliche unrelatable style breaking champion
