At best, Riot has taken World of Warcraft's "Gameplay takes priority over story", which forces Narrative to piece together a story for champions and events. Maybe that's why the two are separate now. On average, it feels like the company is disorganized and it's affecting the Lore team more. At worst, someone needs to sit the team down and teach them how to interact with the community.

LordHippoman1 votesI think it's the way you phrased it. "What's going on with the Lore Team?" would have been better. I half expected to walk into an angry rant, but this is pretty mild as far as Lore complaints go lately.
I think both sides need to do a little more thinking about how they interact, but your thread seems fine. So I dunno.
Durmeth the Vile1 votesRiot isn't interested in real lore anymore. With their retcon and toss out everything plan, they can go full steam ahead to make champions that are generic whatevers. They can take their old characters, and boil them down to one or two sentences.
With the direction they are going with it currently, they could safely fire all of their lore team since it wouldn't matter anyway.
