OK, but seriously though, I love the new Shadow Isle lore, really I do.

I just...want Riot to remember this is game with a talking Armordillo. Whose dating match is a cactus according to Blitzcrank.

I don't want Rammus to be on a roaring rampage of revenge for his Armordillo family who died due to a Noxian invasion, and he's so traumatized from watching his Armordillo mate and Armordillo kids die he's perpetually in a state of PTSD and that's why he can only say one phrase at a time.

Let Rammus just be...Rammus.

I don't really think he needs a lore rework. He's a simple champion with simple lore.

"This is an armadillo. He is a champion. Why? Fuck if I know, just play him"

This should be his lore in my opinion

Surveying the carnage he had dealt in his path of destruction, Rammus blankly watched as one of the mutilated soldiers crawled to him, his legs severed and his right arm useless on the ground, the bone protruding from his sleeve. The man coughed up blood, then spoke in a hoarse voice to the armordillo, looking up at the figure sitting there emotionless. "Why did you do it... w-why did you... do this...?" The figure remained as stoic as ever, and the man inquired again, harshly this time. "WHAT DO YOU THINK OF WHAT YOU'VE DONE?!? How do you feel about slaughtering innocents like a monster, Rammus?" The figure looked down slightly, acknowledging the man's existence. Then he replied, a coarse and hard to hear answer. "Ok."

Boom. Grimdark lore. Give me a job at Riot.

Honestly I wouldn't worry too much about every champions lore being grim dark now. The shadow&fortune story is pretty dark,but it still manages to throw in some comedy with a certain viking Olaf

Gangplank "Hey Rammus... wanna learn how to scrimshaw?" Rammus "Okay." But really, the only reason the lore has been so "Grimdark" is because the past few lore events have taken place in a more serious place. If we go to Bandle city or certain places in Piltover or something like that it's almost Garen teed to be infinitely less serious. Forgoing Teemo being a complete psycho and Veigar having been imprisoned for years, of course.

Admittedly, the previous two lore events have been set in Bilgewater which ain't the nicest place in Runeterra. What's more is that the second set of stories takes place during the harrowing which is a massive undead spookfest. Even so, they managed to make Olaf's appearances much more light-hearted and humorous than everyone else's.

One rioter commented yesterday or so that they want variety too in regards to lore, different ways to tell the stories, I don't know if the next ones will be this dark.

I wish I had some of that new lore for MonkeyKing . Right now his lore is pretty much just journey to the west, League edition. I have this theory that the relic Bard took could be the runestone that created . I know that they aren't exactly the same thing, but they could change Wu's lore just enough to make this a possibility and honestly I think it would be nice for bard to have some kind of interaction with another champ.

I want him to have actual lore (as in backstory) but nothing too too serious (dark as you said). Like, maybe he is just this baller armor smith that lives in the capital of Shurima and he roams Shurima for ancient materials and crap. Maybe he is secretly the first ever Ascended being, but there is little info past that.
