If i remember correctly there was a huge bilgewater update quite a while ago and i was just wondered why fizz wasn't included in that? Fizz lore is pretty sad tbh theres not that much about him...I would and i'm sure other fizz mains would LOVE for him to be given just a little short story or something describeing more about his past
The Bilgewater event only updated the champions that were included in the main story Burning Tides.
It's generally the norm for a few champions to be left out when a regional update is done because of the scope of such things, especially when you're dealing with the bigger areas.
Fizz, Nami, and Nautilus were all left out, and most likely for the reason Sharjo suggested. The scope of the event was grand, and they focused on the champions more central to the story.
The universe side actually lists Fizz as a "runeterra"-champ,so he likely won't even be a Bilgewater champ anymore once he gets a lore update
